Library in my city is also about 5 mins away from me, it is a little too clinical feeling for me though. I get books from it but I didn't really like reading/studying in it.
There's a library near my house and one more downtown. Well, and another not too far from my house but I've never been there. Had to go do both the one nearby and the one downtown in order to read all of the Percy Jackson books though.
I think I still have my library card somewhere. Not sure what the balance is on it if there is one, though, and I'm afraid to find out because my mother has used it in the past to check out books for my sister and forgotten to return those books for months at a time.

Speaking of football, I've been playing a lot of Inazuma Eleven recently. Watching it, too. I don't have an interest in football/soccer, so I didn't think I'd like the series, but...damn.
Sadly, living in America as I do, I'll never be able to play Inazuma Eleven 3 ;_;
I've been to my local library to borrow a book . . . once lol. I rather just buy books cause quite a few books I have reread over the years and such. Up to the third book in the Percy Jackson series now!
I'd say more like the child of Dragon Ball Z and Fifa with some genes of Gurren Lagann. But that's the reason I gave it the time of day, I never would have continued playing Inazuma Eleven on DS if I hadn't been introduced to it's fantastical elements.. Since then, I've been hooked.
Regardless, the game's incredibly fun. It's a shame that it wasn't released in the US.
