80% of my reason for buying it is because Lina's voiced by Megumi Hayashibara. 10% is because some claim it to be the best anime of the 90s. The other 10% is pure curiosity :>

Like I said, Lina's voiced by the person who voices Amy in Sonic, though I have seen her use different pitches (e.g. Patina in Doremi). But Veronica Taylor <3

'Course, I also wanna bring Soul Eater, Clannad After Story, and maybe even Gurren Lagann over to my dad's. Two-thirds of those are dubbed, too! /we had fun turning on the subtitles each and every episode of Clannad; for some reason his DVD player just didn't have them automatically come on

Lucky Star brings back a massively huge nostalgia trip. It's been 8 days. Where are my blu-ray rips to pirate?

Lucky Star looks really, really weird. They also reference plenty of shows, like TTGL, Haruhi, etc.

Though their products is what really gets them going. Lucky Star car oil, anyone?

Lucky Star is Azumanga with more references to other series. But Azumanga's still better.

Also, Hayashibara is adorable as Lina <3 This series was definitely well-worth buying.

Yotsuba&! is one of the best manga I follow. I wish updates were more regular though. I'd probably plug in some hilarious lines from it right here, but I forgot most of it, it's been so long.
