DotA Mafia [GAME OVER]

Welp... there goes my theory.

Still, I don't see what makes me suss. Y'all are just semi-bandwagoning me because Gio has a hunch. I haven't taken that much damage, so it doesn't say a whole lot that I survived 50 damage. Isn't throwing out a one-shot 50 damage attack because of a simple hunch pretty suspicious by itself by the way?

NIGHT EIGHT​


In the wake of alexkaz's second death, the remainder of the group became confused and scattered. Some attacked Merlin on the belief that he was Dire, others going after Lycanthropy for the same reason. The last few; however, decided to stay out of the mess and hoard more gold to themselves. If they couldn't make a choice now - why would they? Would their attacks even do much this day? Maybe, maybe not.

DAY NINE​


It was evident the game was slowing down. The heroes themselves seem exhausted, with the majority of them failing to even take action. Their idling had given the thief 1650 gold in a single night. If the thief was an actual player, he'd have probably met the Neutral's gold needs by now. Perchance if the Dire and Radiant failed to act again, the thief would gift that gold to the active Neutrals.

And on that note, the Neutrals had been taking action, dealing out more damage with reasonable precision. One of which had been foolish and was harming a friend unknowingly; however.

One Radiant did take action; as all heard in the distance, "Forward without fear, my friends!"

The Spring is Sprung!


At daybreak, Mortred found herself trapped within a set of magical gears - facing off against gimmepie. As soon as she attacked, an angelic figure appeared above Clockwerk, granting him protection from any harm she had intended. Seconds later, Clockwer's Battery Assault begun, sprouting small explosions around him, dealing lethal damage to the exhausted Phantom Assassin.

Only one Dire remained, but he was the toughest of them all. Could he survive and ward off both Neutrals and Radiants?

Merlin: -5

Merlin has died. He was Mortred, the Phantom Assassin.

EDIT: I just had an idea. Remember that stupid Vigenere idea thingy I had earlier? How about us Radiants try it now so we can coordinate our attack strategy tonight and share role details? I came up with a system that defies cracking so we won't have a Merlin/Lycan incident like earlier.

Your attachment to ciphers... smh. It wouldn't work anyway we'd either have to cheat by discussing things in private or we'd be cracked because it would all be public.

How about we wait for claims and use deduction and logic instead of resorting to gimmicks :P
 
Personally, I think it's either Gio or jd that is Doombringer. That's my take atleast, considering Doombringer is fairly active...
 
Fuck it....i'm radiant. even though you were asking for alignment i didn't want to say anything still but heck with it. leaps need to be taken. as for your code thing. good luck teaching me how to do it. even with Merlin explaining how he cracked it i couldn't figure it out.
 
I still dont get the point in Bard's word ciphers.

But no, I'm not Doom, and I personally point my FoS on Lycan, for reasons I said yesterday. And I'm not too keen on trusting Bard at this point, he's notorious for being mafia leaders.

So if I'm making myself clear, Gio attacked Lycan, right? Gio, how much damage do you deal?

So far, jd seems to be our Doombringer. I'll hold off voting until people give their opinions...
 
Well, Lycan said he was attacked. The phase post mentioned that a Neutral hit another Neutral. If that's the case, that clears you and Lycan as not Doombringer. :x

And this ain't rocket science gio. With these ciphers, we can coordinate our night attack without the doombringer knowing what we'll be doing (assuming we can get this done by nightfall). I suppose we could just announce it in the thread but what would be the fun of that?

Despite the communication being held in-thread, this doesn't seem too far off from PMing, just that other players know that you are doing it. To keep things more in line with... you know... mafia... let's just keep the game straight on this point. :)
