u gyes post way to fast for me.slow dowen i have no clue what u are talking about
What are you talking about it? We are going slow compared to other groups here, so I think we should speed it up.

I don't even play competitive battling and I can tell that that moveset is horrible... Lol.

Not really, first u taunt, it will strike first due to aerodactyle's speed, which prevents them from setting up stealth rock, then you set one up yourself, which will be successfulll again due to speed.

Now most of his role is already done, a lead's role is mainly setting up stealthrock.

He is wearing focus sash, which means he cant be killed in one hit, so you are able to use Dragon Dance or Agility, greatly boosting speed or speed and attack, and then on the next move, you use batton pass, giving that speed or speed and attack to your sweeper, as batton pass gives them the same powerups,

Therefore Aerodactyle served a role as:

Stealth rock lead
and
Batton passer

Both great, and even better on just 1 pokemon......

Also, if hes wearing a focus band, they can kill him in one hit, but if they dont KO on the first hit, it takes 3 hits...

Hope that clearz it up, tough please correct me if im wrong

What do you do when thats your last Pokemon? Say it came to your final Pokemon (Aerodactyl) and one of your opponents last Pokemon: What would you do?

Theres no attack moves - All there is, is Taunt and Agility which I assume your not going to use against another Pokemon.

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash
Pressure /// Jolly Nature
4 HP . 252 Attack . 252 Speed
- Ice Fang
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Taunt

Of course you use Taunt first to get your foe stuck in his/her attack move. You then preceed using Stealth Rock. After that you can do any of three options: a) Use Ice Fang b) Use Stone Edge or c) Switch to a different Pokemon.

If you are going to attack, you have to use the one that'll be super effective or hence more stronger against the opponent if it becomes a neutral attack move.

True, i was just viewing it as a lead....

And.... i put mine as a suicide lead, forgot to type that.

for urs, what does ice fang cover? Wouldn't it easily be replaceable with a better, weakness covering move or not?

yea this Suicide Lead set is so Popular ,

i think this set would work good :

Aerodactyl @ Leichi Berry
Pressure /// Jolly Nature
4 HP . 252 Attack . 252 Speed
- Ice Fang/Dragon Claw
- Substitude
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

Sub 4 times and u will have a Leichi Boost. Aerodactyl with have attack 400+ ( Maybe ) . the disadvantage is if hes hitted with Ice Shard, Hes ended up.
Ice Fang: it will be good against Mence and chomp . Maybe u need to Replace it with Dragon Claw if u r vs Kingdra
Stone Edge: 100 x STAB= 150. and good to own some flying Pokemon. the problem is with a risky 80 Accuracy
Earthquake: Kill off Some Electric pokemon who dares to own Aerodactyl! its the Best against Electric type pokemon if u already got Leichi Boost!

That's the standard..Except EQ> Ice Fang IMO.

that set that me and JD posted is the best lead in the OU metagame. ... IMO ... Your one suck'd k?.

Ice Fang covers alot >.> ..

Aerodactyl is really not the best pokemon to be using that sort of set...And also any revenge killer owns it. (Choice scarfer/Extremely fast pokemon.. for those who don't know)
Feraligatr abuses it better..

If you want an attacking Aerodactyl..Which is possible..

Aerodactyl @ Choice Band / Life Orb
Jolly
252Spe/252Atk/6hp

- Stone Edge / Rock Slide
- Earthquake
- Aqua Tail
- Fire Fang / Pursuit

But again..It's not the best to be used as a CBer.

Tyranitar abuses that better.

wow...how is aerodactyl obtaining so much attention?

I do not know. Maybe you should give a shot at answering that question.

I would like to join this group. Not only is it about my favorite Pokémon type, but I also need a place to settle in. :3

Favorite Dragons?

To me, I just don't use the Legendary Dragons. Instead, I only use four:

•Salamance
•Tyranitar
•Flygon
•Garchomp

Welcome.

wow...how is aerodactyl obtaining so much attention?

Because I said it's the best competitive lead..Then I posted the set.

Then DrAcO_ToRpEdO posted a set which he thought could pass of as a good lead and agilipasser..Which it couldn't...As even discarding the problem with the no attacks..Aerodactyls defenses suck..Therefore not giving it the bulkiness a true baton passer needs.

Then JD pointed it out.

Then DrAcO_ToRpEdO tried to defend himself and kinda failed.

Then Chaosluke posted a set that I didn't think should really be used on an aerodactyl...and then I posted my thoughts on it and some alternative movesets.

Answer your question? XD

Hmm.....would it be okay if I rejoined the Den? I forgot that the forums could be kind of boring without it...

Welcome BHwolfgang!!

Oh and -Kairyu?? I thought the den was boring....................... JK welcome back man:D

Actually I realized that I caused way too much spam in the old den, which I wont do in this one.

So, whats the current Discussion?

Welcome back, Kairyu.

muk is kum spelt backwards.
Funny. Besides it is spelt with a 'c' not a 'k'. Before you make an immature joke spell it right, lol.

Topic: No current topic regarding dragon Pokemon. Just talk freely, in open discussion, but only for the rest of this day. Of course though, there should be a topic tomorrow. :P
