    Still haven't finished the first part of this. Better catch up. I left it at episode 8-ish I think? Won't take much time. Hope it becomes a little more exciting this time around. The first part was okay but didn't do anything to blow me away or anything as far as I remember.

    Also, for the love of god, stop throwing more and more characters into the mix. We've got enough as it is! XD;

    I'm in the same boat. Though, unlike you (I imagine, reading around these boards make it seem like you've watched billions of anime and read billions of manga), I still have a lot of stuff to watch :( I only started watching anime about a year ago and there are still too many "classics" I haven't seen. Like FMA:B. At this point I dunno if I want to continue with Durarara or watch something else. The first few episodes aren't too great.

    Best anime is back! I'm so hyped. As soon as I saw this in my feed, I stopped everything I was doing to watch it.

    #1 (or 13, as you prefer)

    I might have not liked the turn this series had since the second season started, but if there's a thing that I will probably never stop liking is Izaya-kun <3

    I love Izaya episodes aaa. I love how much everyone hates him, yet he "loves" everybody. I love how Shinra treats him like shit.

    Can we talk about how good the new opening and ending is? Talk about home run every single season as far as OSTs go.

    Is Durarara s2 worth watching? I loved s1, but the continuation just doesn't seem as good...

    I think so! It's quite a bit slower than the first part was, but it's still a great show owo Especially since it seems like they're finally revisiting things that happened at the very beginning of the show!

    Episode 2!

    Agreed with Chikar- I mean, Taipioca, they are somehow returning to the concept of the first season, and going back to some stories that were left open.

    I liked the two episodes released so far more than the complete second season... That's something.

    And yeah, s2 of DRRR does give off a very different vibe than s1 but it's still great, especially this second half that just started airing. I loved these newest two episodes much more than the first half of s2!

    Really? Admittedly, haven't seen the episode yet. But I saw the opening and...I felt like it was the weakest DRRR! opening by far. It seemed like a generic j-pop opening with nothing in the music making it sound catchy or anything. Didn't even have the catchy beats from the first OP (of the very first season) nor something like amazing vocals like the second OP (of the very first season, again). Idk, might just be my taste in music. But I definitely don't share your views here lol

    That's fine. I felt the same way about Headhunt before I started last season. I listened to the song and thought it sucked. Haaaated it. Then I listened to it more when I finally started watching, and now I love it. Believe it or both, the same exact thing happened with this opening. I wasn't a fan when I listened to it before I started watching, but now I looooove it. Music's a hard thing to agree completely on.

    Totally ontopic: My favorite opening is the second OP of the first season.

    Second Season OP was kinda meh. I like this one.

    Does this ever get more interesting or different, or is it still just an expanded version of Durarara? I watched the first few episodes, but I'm not really a huge fan and I'm considering dropping it. Mostly wondering if more cool or surprising stuff happens or if it's still the same old with a new story. Don't wanna look it up and spoil myself ;;

    It is just a sequel to durarara, but it does get better. shou definitely had more going on, but ketsu should have some more things happening from the start since it'll be wrapping everything up. I wouldn't recommend dropping it but that's just me :x

    Yeah, it was an ok season. Looking forward to the last one on January.
    I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who disliked the first season (especially those who noticed that the story got 'boring' in the second half).
