I really want to see this new Metroid Prime 2, before I played the Metriod games with Samus Aran, but ever since I played Metriod Prime, Im a much bigger Metriod fan now. Also, Halo 2 was suppose to come out much earlier, but the developers have held back the release date for some time, to make eveything just "perfect", this show might be interesting this year...

I cant wait till the games come out..I think Ive heard rumors about a golden sun three for the gamecube to..hm...*goes and checks out preview*

Wow! HM2 already? And I haven't even the first one...

Argh, where's Paper Mario 2 and Animal Crossing 2? Aw phooie!

I really want to get the Wind Waker 2, but it won't be coming out until next year sometime....maybe...

    .....another SSB?!
Awesome! I can't wait! Nintendo is going to rock E3 this time!

....Fire Emblem!! Alright! I hope it comes out this year!

I have to start saving money for all this hehe...

Wind waker will be the first zelda game to get a sequel
Actually WW wont be the only one Majora's Mask was a sequal to OOT although they did not call it OOT2 it's still a sequal because it takes place right after link buts the Master sword into the pedistal and lets navi go & in any other zelda game it takes place in a different time and with a different hero ironicly called link also.

Actually, Wind Waker too was a sequal to Majora's Mask and OoT. The whole ocean used to be Hyrule Field. ^_^

Well I'm expecting a new Pokemon game since they mentioned that there is going to be a new Pokemon besides Deoxys in the 7th movie.

Hopefully a new Sonic game (that they don't go overboard with a stupid teamwork moral in the end), more info on Paper Mario 2, a new SSB game (doubtful), more info on Kingdom Hearts 2, more info on Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and possibly Banjo-Threeie (also doubtful)...

Wind Waker takes place years after OOT as wa described in the informal opening seqence that was overly boring, it was talking about the hero who travled thru time to same a kingdom and locked the evil away. So when every boy becomes of age he is given the green clothes in hope that he will become the next hero.

It?s still in the same world, so it?s a sequel. Most of the other Zelda game don?t take place in the same Hyrule, right?

Hm...was Adventure of Link a sequel to Legend of Zelda for the NES?

And Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages were simultaneously released so I suppose they don't count as sequels...

Which would mean that the sequel to WW will be the first Zelda sequel to take place in the same area at the same time, I suppose...

Oracle of Ages/Seasons are the main two that don't fit the timeline, and Link's Awakening to some extent. As far as I know, The Legend of Zelda and The Adventure of Link share the same "Link" hero. A Link to the Past has a new Link, and is set some time after the first two games. Link's Awakening fits in sometime after this, so I presume that the Link present there is also the one from ALttP.

Then, as everyone knows, comes Ocarina of Time, which predates every single Zelda title, and Majora's Mask, which is set (probably) a couple of days after OoT. The Link you control in this game was technically the first of the legend (duh. You all know that. Ssh).

The Wind Waker is set years and years and years into the future. So far in fact that the past adventures of Link have become little more than legend, and Hyrule is technically no more. This is where the "Links" begin a new lineage, as TWW "Link" is in no way related to the past heroes (who are all related by blood).

[I didn't particularly like Nintendo's decision to make TWW Link a nobody, and to have Hyrule exist as nothing more than an empty wasteland underwater, but meh.]

Anyway, I've waffled too much. What was my point here :\. Oh yeah, I'd say that none of the Zelda games are 'sequels' as such, much like Final Fantasy VIII isn't Final Fantasy VII's sequel, although to a lesser extent. I suppose Zelda II (AoL) could be considered the first game's sequel though, as could Majora's Mask to OoT. Tch. Who knows. ;)

    if Nintendo is wise enough...

Game of the Year = Metroid Prime 2

let me free your BOO ya!
