6th Gen E3 Discussion Thread!

We could be getting even more news tonight at the roundtable later.
"Just a reminder, Trainers! We're live-tweeting the Nintendo Developer Roundtable tonight at 6 p.m. PT. Who's ready for more Pokémon X and Pokémon Y news?" - Pokémon Facebook Page.

"The Onix you stepped on attacked!"

LOL jk I like that they changed the phrase :D & I really wonder what's it gonna be for Onix?
Anyway please note:
> Type is called Fairy
> The type button is light pink
> Mewtwo's female form is light pink too which means it's gonna be part Psychic part........
> Clefairy is gonna kick some major Dragonite ***...

We have three new Pokemon revealed!
Spoiler:

The seahorse-looking Pokemon uses a Poison-type attack. The bird Pokemon is an evolution of Fletchling and used a Flying-type attack. The blue crustacean thing used a Water-type attack. There is also a lady who says the following
"Do you want to have a Sky Battle with me?"

There is also an image where Froakie is facing four Houndour.

Can't wait for the official site to update with these new stuff after E3 today. I want to get a better look at these new Pokémon and know more about Sky Battles and what Frokie vs. those four Houndoom mean!!

It looks like that Haunter and unnamed bird Pokémon are in a flying (and levitate?) battle.
At least in the background it seems as if they are high up in the air.

Well this came right after that text was displayed so I can assume so since Haunter has the ability Levitate.
Initially Fletchling was my favorite but I'm really not warming to that evolution just yet, it looks like it's wearing a pair of trousers or something.. ;;

What is "PT"? Does that mean PST?

I wanna be up when the news hits D< So excited!

Fletching's evolution looks like a vulture. Icky.

I'm reserving my judgement on Fletchling's evolution ─ and all the other Pokémon for that matter ─ until official artwork is released.

Oh. So in five hours or so :3 OK.

And I agree with whoever said Fletching's evo' has pants on. I would say moreso underwear XD

Same here. Also the top of the evolutions "pants" look like grey flames, wonder if it really is going to be a fire type.

Also seems Pokebeach has a picture of a sky battle, seems deniable now that the rumors are incorrect, as this makes them very correct.

Ps: Also Water Pokémon master pointed out the crystals in the landscape, so when I looked to see I noticed they're red and blue...Ruby and Sapphire remakes! Okay it just had to be done.

The robin evolution looks pretty cool. But the pink Horsea rip off and the blue crab thing I'm not so sure about.

Looking forward to a bit more information now we're starting to get some. :D

I really enjoyed it and it came as a total surprise, ngl. I was anticipating a new type and thankfully my longings were delivered. The new Pokemon world looks so well too...I can't wait to get my hands on it in October :)

Not going to judge the three pokemon before they are easier to see.

I will say that the last 2 pictures make me very interested due to them hinting at a real-time battling system. It's something they really need to do, and with the 3DS being able to make Gamecube-quality titles, there really is no excuse.

[PokeCommunity.com] E3 Discussion Thread!

HOLY SPIT THEY ACTUALLY DID IT. They included REAL POKEMON BONDING in this game! The one thing I felt was missing in a game titled Pokemon, interaction with the monsters (beyond using them as heartless battle robots). And interaction you can actually SEE and not just read about.

Oh my God I'm thinking about it. If this game has that Pokemon in it, I'm sold. It'll be the first Trainer Sim I've played since Emerald. I can't guarantee I'll be the best trainer but my Lord I'll be d'awwing all day long. I knew the switch to 3D wasn't the only interesting draw to X/Y. Man oh man it better be a packed little mode. All this game needs is an "alternate career path", because I'm too much of a pacifist to battle. :( Can I beat the game by just following a rebuilt, rebuffed contest system?

Omg, they were not playing when they said we were going to have a huge amount of information. Fletchling's evolution is amazing in my opinion. omg ! Why is October so far away? :(

Do want new Crawfish!

Wonder if the "Sky Battle" is an actual battle or if there was just some special battle intro.

It may be what replaces contests and not some actual battle. Poke-Ringer anyone?

What if the Sky battle is both of them using Fly ?

Haunter can't learn fly.

Though I wonder now if there are any limitations. Flying type and Levitate seem to be part of the stipulation to being in it if the picture is any clue, but what about those that can fly without levitate and aren't part flying like Beedrill or Dustox or Volcarona?

Then you have some who's pokedex hints to being able to fly like Garchomp and Whimseecott (in a way). Then again what if they don't limit it....Sky Battle with Graveller seems kinda dumb.
