Considering the dwindling sales of their products, pulling out of the market was not a surprise at all. However, software market is competitive so it could be a struggling battlefield for BlackBerry.

This really makes me super sad. I do remember being super excited with getting a Blackberry Bold I had. I loved that thing to death and it was a really nice device for it's time. It sucks that Blackberry can't compete with Apple or Android though. :(
I thought they were pretty unique devices.

The product can't keep up with so many more advance and renowned smartphones even with torch, their sales drying so fast that they can't catch up with apple or any best brand. I'm just glad I'm moved to android now.

It's a shame. I remember way back when you were cool if you had one. Sadly they kinda let Apple and Google annihilate them and lost too much market share to make a comeback (and it doesn't help much that they were so reluctant to evolve...)

Where can I get phones with real keyboards now?
You might find used blackberry phones on ebay, if you want.

Aww, I liked my old blackberry till it broke, I suck at touchscreen shit.

Sadly other smartphones got actually intelligent enough that they could no longer compete. It was inevitable that the classic Blackberry phone would be rendered into basically a useless feature phone. Not only that but RIM did not move fast enough in modernizing their brand and it killed the brand off quickly

My oh my how times have changed, especially in technology. I remember as recently as 6-7 years ago when BlackBerry phones were all the rage. It seemed like nearly everybody had a Blackberry with them (at least those who kept up with the times).

Things like this further reinforce my view that technology is advancing too fast for many people to keep up with. I thought BlackBerry would be a craze for many years to come, only to find out that it bombed out around 2010 or so.

Just curious, but what exactly do you mean by this? :o

Oh, I just have shaky hands so they slide all over the place lol, so with that sort of thing I can't type too well.
