5th Gen English Release Date Discussion [EU - March 4, US - March 6, AUS - March 10]

This saddens me ;-;
New Zealand usually gets all these games like, 5 months after their release in America/Europe.
 
You people seem really...er...what's the word? Competitive (only thing I could think of =/) on whether or not you get it before America. What's the difference? A couple of days? It doesn't seem like that big of a deal.
 
I think it's because one country usually gets it before the other.
It's a matter of self-pride and saying "OHMYGAWD, TEH GRAPHICS, THEY'RE SO COOL, YOU SHOULD TRY IT, WAIT YOU DON'T HAVE IT YET HAHAHAHHAHAHAH"

It is a huge deal when the majority of the world normally has to wait weeks, even months to get the same game.

Then you could import it from America/Europe. I know the game is region-locked, but then also buy a American/European DS.

That's only the DSi, normal DS and DS Lite work fine for imported games.
 
HAHAHA BONAD I WAS RIGHT IT'D BE ON A MONDAY.

This means in 2 weeks we should get the release date of March 3rd for Australia. :DDD;

Which means they are going for a simultaneous release which totally almost confirms Australia as Aus being 3rd. :D

But damnit you announcing it first. ;;
 
Brilliant news :D
It might not seem like much, but we used to have to wait months for exactly the same game. I was really pleased when we only had to wait two weeks for HGSS, so to actually get a game first for once just feels so good :P

^ Assuming we (Australia) get it on a thursday this time (because until now 'America was always before Europe' so on shouldn't place total belief in that) and assuming it's that specific Thursday. It may happen, but sheesh, don't put all your eggs in one basket. =p
 
I really hope so, I'm from Europe and I don't want to have to import again, it'd also make sence giving that 4th March is a Friday (the usual day for Video game releases over here) gonna keep checking Serebii.
 
hey bonad I have high hopes okay. :(

I honestly really think it'll be the 3rd and if not, then the 10, but I seriously doubt that, considering Europe gets the game before America, so there's no real reason why Australia should wait besides what Jake said but... Jake doesn't know what's in Nintendo's mind. ;___;
