Experiments [PG-13]

Drake saw the fireballs.

Idiot, he thought, He just gave away that somone's after them.

Drake felt even more compelled to end that Material's life. He decided to add him to the hit list after all the Experiments were dead. Drake was sure he wouldn't be missed. He decided to wait to see what the Experiments would do to parry the fireballs, hoping they would show some of their abilities. Then, when they're sepereted into at least one or two people, he'd strike.
 
"Trying to catch them all by yourself is so dangerous it's suicidal." she said seeing how much Jeremy seemed to be annoyed by it as well as noticing she was having more trouble keeping up and she managed to grab for his arm accidentally grabbing his hand instead. Caresse blushed and said meekly "Sorry having trouble keeping up with you"
 
Jeremy smiled, slowing his pace slightly. "No big deal. I get a bit mad when people do thing so obviously stupid. I wasn't paying attention." Jeremy squeezed her hand. "Just in case I speed up again."
 
After about three miles, Luphen started to grow weak."Hey, Aura look around for a cave because I starting to feel weak and I don't know how much longer I can keep this up. We have a heavy mist to cover our tracks and cover us from anybodies eye view."
 
Aura nodded, relieved to be away from the fire. She looked around, but couldn't see much of anything. She sighed in frustration and closed her eyes. She listened for the sound of rocks. After a minute of so, she caught onto something.

"Two miles North, and then on the left there's a small cave." she stopped to catch her breath, "It's small, but It'll have to do." she was breathing hard by now. She gripped at her chest, her heart was acting up again, and her eyes were still closed. She needed a rest, before she passed out.
 
Jeremy chuckled. "It's my pleasure." he looked ahead of him, he hadn't seen the fireballs recently, maybe that meant something had gone right, or maybe something had happened to the kid. Either way, using his Echolocation, he could tell the kid was close, so he assumed they were about to find out.
 
"Ok!" He replied as he pushed harder. After about two miles, he seen the cave she was telling him about."We're here." He said as he landed in to the cave, breathing heavy."Man, I overused my powers, I can hardly breathe. Well one good thing is I got us to safety. But man I'm so tired and weak."

He looked at Aura."Are you ok, Aura?"
 
" you guys can stop looking i'm right here" Jack said this as he stepped out from behind a nearby tree "sorry to break up the love fest but they got away" Jack said this to the pair who were obviously running a long distance and started walking away.
 
Drake saw the breaking of the Experiments in groups. In one direction, he caught two of them seperating and going somewhere a ways off. Drake concentrated his eyes and noticed a cave off in the distance. He approxiamated that they were going there. He saw that they were weak, vulnerable. They were the perfect two targets to his hit list. He got up, rolled his sleeves to the elbows, his signature style for going into a fight. Drake jump down the hill and proceeded there at top speed, thinking cautiously of the possible powers the two might have. Drake's lived his whole life for these kind of moments. It was time for him to show himself what he was made of.
 
Aura rubbed her eyes with her palms. She nodded her head. "Yeah, I'm fine, dizzy but fine." she let out a slow breath and took her jacket off, throwing it at her feet. It was too hot. She was too tired. She rubbed her hand across her eyes. "It's not big deal. I've handle much, much worse." After a second, she added, "You alright?"
 
Caresse looked at the boy who just showed up. "What were you thinking. Going at them by yourself and making yourself known. That is stupid and rash and the only thing that will ensure is your death not theirs." she said letting go of Jeremy's hand and crossing her arms.
 
"I'm siding with Caresse. Why not take on one, or two of them! There is no way you could handle all of them. There's two of us, and we wouldn't go after all of them! You could get yourself killed." Jeremy hissed.
 
"dont you feel it, the power coursing through your vains" Jacks eyes began to light up red as he continued his rant "sometimes you need to let those powers out" "he grabbed Jeremy by shoulders and asked again "Dont you feel it!!!"

(OOC:i see a love connection forming between you two)
 
He said,"Yeah, I'm ok just a little tired. I just hope we will be safe for atleast a couple hours. Then we could atleast plan our next move. Aw and thanks back there your powerful was a lot of help. Without you I'll be past out at some tree right now awaiting my death."
 
Jeremy pushed him back, glaring. "You need to chill out. Calm down." he said through gritted teeth. This guy was beginning to get on his nerves, and that was not a place anyone wanted to be, and it wasn't anything he wanted anyone to see.
 
Aura ran a hand through her hair. "I would probably be sitting back there by myself. I would have froze up. I can handle a lot of things, but fire. No way, not happening." she let out another breath. Breathe in and out. In and out, in and out, in and- Her eyes shot open.

"Crap!" she yelled, "Someone's coming!"
 
Jack backed off and started walking away before turning around and started talking again "you dont get do you? i saw things back at the Corps lab felt things and became something new" he turned around again and set off to find the experiments "you guys can stay here but i need someone to test the powers on and i would't want it to be you"
 
(OOC: We know we've planned it if allowed)

Caresse narrowed her eyes "I know what your talking about. I feel it to but I can't release it...I have before and I hurt myself with my own power. It's not always wise to...ho would you feel if I let one of mine out right now! How would you feel seeing your worst nightmare right before your eyes!" she hissed taking a deep breath trying to keep in control.
 
Jeremy put a hand on Caresse's shoulder. "Do you think you can handle it?" he asked nervously. He wasn't really scared about being hurt, he was more scared of her hurting herself.
