But this whole ditch and evo thing is great, lets keep riolu, because he's adorable. and get rid of lucario, lets just pretend it never exsisted, because it sucks, and it's ugly.

same with probobass. keep the nose, lose the probo

Why is everyone saying that none of these evolutions were necessary? They push the extra stats that those pokemon needed to be useful in the realm of competetive battling.

Yes, some of them look rather ridiculous, but they couldn't exactly just look the same, could they (*cough*gliscor lickilicky yanmega*cough*) =)

Out of the cross-gen upgrades though, I'd say I dislike only the ones that weren't really updated. Gliscor, Lickilicky and Yanmega were barely changed in terms of appearance. They're just bigger versions of the originals. I know Ambipom is just a two-tailed version of Aipom, but I'm quite a fan of both so I'm letting that one slide. =p

My opinion of Porygon-Z is that it's not really a v3.0 of Porygon, it's a hacked version of Porygon-2. I would have loved to see the hacking of Porygon/-2 as some sort of game mechanic. Maybe in Black/White. =3 Maybe we'll see an official Silph Co. Porygon-3, too.

Probopass.

Having said that though, they should just get rid of the -pass line altogether.

My prediction would be a Porygon3D or something, but maybe that will be when the 3DS comes out.

Tangrowth, Rhyperior, Electivire, Magnezone, Lickilicky.

Oh, and Probopass.

They just look like someone took the previous one, scribbled an extra bit on it and the designers, being short on ideas, just went, ".... um... oh, go on then."
Same for me.

Also my have nice attakcs but I don't like its look. Heck it is micky mouse ears ...

There is no evolution that I would take out from a Pokemon. Pokemon get stronger when they evolve, and I love strong Pokemon.

But if I had to choose, it would be Poliwhirl. I love Poliwhirl, though it looks too much like Poliwrath. I like my Pokemon to look different from one another. Merge them, maybe?

I think Pinsir needs an evo so it can keep up with scizor! They should bulk out its defenses some more and maybe give it a second type or something.

Incidentally, did anyone else think that Heracross was supposed to be Pinsir's evolution way back when it was first shown?

Lickilicky and Rhypherior.
I mean... come on! They look like really badly-designed Fakemons.

And... please don't hate Magnezone. ;~;
I think it is a pretty awesome evolution.

I love all of the evolutions. But if I had to take one away, it would be either Lickilicky or Probopass.

Okay, imma come in here tah set the record straight, yo and I'mma let you finish but Electivire was like the best thing to happen to Pokemon since MEW. Okay, now that I'm done imitating Kanye West...

Licklicky, Tangrowth, Purugly, Magmortar, and Magnezone (UFO?) are full of fail.
Probopass is full of EPIC PHAIL. (It looks like Mr. Potatohead)
Electivire and Yanmega are full of win.
Rhyperior could of been better. I wish he could've looked similar to his design but maybe with a little bit more Aggron.
Porygon*Z was ehhh alright, but I'm going to stick with Porygon2 kthnxbai

Give me ONE good reason why magmar, the pokemon with a FLAMING ASS on it's face, is better than magmortar, the pokemon with cannons for arms

Magmortar is too violent, and I'm sorry it just looks really REALLY messed up, but that's just one mans opinion.

I have to agree with you. I don't know why people hate on Magnezone so much. Magneton was such a boring Pokemon in my opinion and a new evolution made it much more appealing.

I also think Tangrowth was a great evolution. It just looks like a bigger form of Tangela, but more powerful. I had completely forgotten that Tangela existed until Tangrowth came about.

Personally, I don't like any of the added evolutions to the old Pokemon.
Sure, some of them are cool, but if a Pokemon was fully evolved once, it should still be fully evolved forever.
To me, the added evolutions just seem like lacks of better ideas for new Pokemon.

And therein lies everyone's beef with Tangrowth; it's just a bigger Tangela.

From a design aspect, that's just plain lazy.

Same can said of Lickilicky, Dugtrio, and Magneton. (However, in Magnetons case, that actually makes sense, since Magnemite's molecular structure is more similar to a machine- and thus unable to shift shape. The only way for such a creature to become more powerful would be a form of aggregation.)

Magnezone just looks kinda dorky. A UFO with eyeballs.

I'm happy to say that I don't have any problems with any pokemon evolutions.

This is probably due to the fact that I refuse to acknowledge the existence of a few of them, particularly that HEINOUS lickitongue evolution.
