    So I skimmed the first page and couldn't see a thread on this sooo

    Who's excited for fable 3?? I picked up my copy this morning, collectors ed and am so excited to play!!!!

    Do you reckon it'll be awesome? Do you think it will be bad? Are you indifferent about it??

    aww this makes me sad :( I didn't like the first fable but really really loved the 2nd... usually people find the first better though.

    when it gets cheaper you should give it a go :D
     
    I had the first Fable and enjoyed it when I was about twelve and thirteen, but I never liked the second one (and I never had a 360 or anything to play it on), so I don't think I'll be getting this one either. Like the concept of ageing and all that is cool, but apart from that it's not amazingly good.
     
    I enjoyed 1, and absolutely HATED 2. Ice skating comes to mind when Fable 2 is brought up.

    I haven't really kept up with 3 really. I'm just going to wait and see what everyone else thinks. Knowing the Fable team's development style, they are definitely the type to say they're going to do something and either do it, but half-assed or just not do it at all.

    They're also the kings of removing content.

    Enjoyed Fable.
    Hated Fable 2 because it is basically the same but things taken out.
    Couldn't care less about Fable 3.

    Hmm well I have played about 1 and a half hours of it and so far I enjoy it but I did like fable 2 better.. I guess if you hated 2 you'll really hate this one :|

    they seemed to have taken out some things from 2 that I really enjoyed and replaced it with dumb down versions instead. they tried to streamline too much

    But I haven't played that far yet, overall I am enjoying it but a few things need changing
     
    I watched my friend play a little last night and we both agreed - the game looks bigger than it really is. It makes it look like you can do whatever you want, but when you try to - for example - set random townspeople on fire it doesn't work. The game is horribly freaking linear for a game with an 'open world'.
     
    I'm basically like everyone else in here, Fable 1 was awesome, Fable 2 was disappointing, to say the least. I'll still probably be getting this, if only because I can fart to impress women and make them my wives.

    If only real life worked so simply.
     
    I started out with Fable 2 and it was a huge disappointment and the opposite of what I expected it to be. It was just so boring and the storyline didn't keep my interest. I don't think I'll be getting Fable 3.
     
    Nothing like what it is. Bought it for my gf on release day she completed it the next day, I borrowed it, completed it today took less than 6 hours. and returned it for a good amount of money back.

    My advice rent it. the game is short and very easy. Go buy Fable 1 the only one that was any good.

    sounds like you just played straight through it and didn't do any side missions or anything :S Its definitely not 6 hours long if you put more effort into doing the other quests

    Side-quests are not part of the main game, it's ridiculous to have the actual game only last six hours.
     
    Judging by both reviews and what people say, this game is a complete and total flop. :|

    Which is a shame, really. The series seems so enchanting but the further they go, the more they seem to lose.
