This reminds me, Cilan and his fellow Gym leaders didn't help fight the Seven Sages in B/W, which must mean that they just made him look lame by saying he didn't know, or it wouldn't he was too weak to go and fight, but he'd been training the who game so o___o

I was thinking that there were too many Gym Leaders in comparison to seven of those Sages. It was easier to omit them than try to work out a way to make 11 vs. 7 seem fair. It's quite possible he was too weak, but in-game they mention that they weren't informed. Which means they genuinely didn't know. Of course, if we were to look at it in a more negative way, perhaps the three were purposely not informed.

I however, like to think that they were merely uninformed, and missed out as a convenient plot device.

Just checked a few things on Bulbapedia; so far no airdate for the episode of Dento fishing. There is already sketches of another episode of Emonga vs Snivy which means no episode on Dento yet. -sigh-

Lame as! I wonder if they're just going to flat-out cancel it...

More people like Dento than Iris. I find this Iris-focussing to be illogical from a marketer's point of view.

Woo~ Dento movie! ♥ Haha, this is where my Japanese comes in handy. I wonder if fans have got subtitled trailers to look forward watch? (Does not actually care what the movie is about. I haven't watched the Pokemon movies since the Lugia and Ho-Oh one)

That would make him too deep for Pokemon, sadly. I could imagine that, even though he is confident in general, and arrogant in battle. People who are used to winning all the time takes one loss much harder than somebody with a mixed record, you could say. Then again, one has to take his Gym Leader-hood into account. I'm he's lost many times.

It would all depend on who he loses to. However... he should definitely keep on n00b-owning Cabernet until she grows enough. It would just be unrealistic (in Pokemon, of all things, lol) if she just comes in next time and own him.

I hope they all get equal amount of screen time during the movie but Dento better have more; I mean he was in that clip with Iris doing the twirl thing....that gotta make him get more screen time of being more fabulous and epicness. Come on writers; we need more Dento time. Iris is taken all the glory. I think even more then Ash at this moment.

Sooner or later it's going to be called the Iris show but hopefully it'll switch to the Dento series instead of Iris. I guess the writers wanted to develop her a bit more then soon switch over to Dento. At least the whole entire series isn't about just Ash now.

I don't mind Ash as much as others seem to... perhaps because I skipped all of Sinnoh, barring an episode and a half and a movie.

I think the writers realized Iris was becoming scenery, and so upped her role. Did it a little clumsily, too, I thought- went from lots of Ash and Dent to CRAPTON OF IRIS TIME.

Excellent point, Pikastar! Considering that I complain about it all being about Ash (irrational, since he's the main character), now I'm complaining because it's Iris. I'm just too hard to please~ THE WRITERS HAVE GIVEN UP ON ME I guess I should have said "Dento should hog all the spotlight!"

NICE WORK, PARTNER! Now I'm like, "I wonder which is their real hair colour?" Genetically speaking, it's more likely they all have the same colour. I always joking thought to myself, "which one of the three is illegitimate," LOL. Even though they're polyzygotic triplets, heh, heh, heh.

LOL, namin' and shamin' is we? I hardly know AK47, so I can't say much. I speak from the most bias I can muster, that we're not as creepy. This is me saying this without actually reading their posts, haha. You will find that 90% of people that defend Iris are her fanboys, no exceptions. At least, 90% I have encountered. Same principle with Misty.

I have a lot to answer for myself, since technically my infatuation with Dento makes me an ephebophile. It's not always illegal, but since Dento is probably under 16... *sweats*

On the plus side, I guess I'm not such a fan that I think about him all the time, or wish we were married, etc.. I just love the man to death, but can appreciate that he's not real. I feel sorry for fans that are "gone," y'know? I'm still capable of being attracted to other men/women, and wanting to form relationships. My area of study have enabled me to stumble upon very interesting cases of Celebrity Worship Syndrome.

Anyway, I've come to really like this club, because I can actually discuss Dento and his awesomeness without scrolling through posts upon posts of "HE IS SO HAWT~♥♥". Which is true, but gets redundant after a while.

According to the standard definition in psychology, you're a paedophile if you have an infatuation of pre-pubescents and are over 15. If it's just one person/character, it is still paedophilic in nature~ Haha, that's just my way of bashing Iris, really. I don't mind if people make pairings that are paedophilic, because one, it's fiction, and two, it's consensual in depiction.

I don't mind those kind of pairings, I guess, but it depends on the pair. I like Harry Potter x Severus Snape (mainly for the depth the writers go into with the issues in the characters), but damn does Dawn x Cyrus make me cringe.
