6th Gen Fairies!

Oh yeah carbink is awesome!!!!! I want carbink to have a mega stone or a evolve form. It would be cool to see it happen!!!!

Hahah. It is actually confirmed that Diancie is related to Carbink through some sort of mutation, and Diancie does have a mega :P So I think that's all we're getting.

Has to be my lil' girl Mawile. I've been raising them since Gen IV and it's made me so happy to see that a Mega Evolution boosted her usage to high levels. My Sheer Force Mawile's seem a bit redundant now though...

I didn't expect fairy, but I like it more than any other ideas which floated around in my mind. :)

I was really skeptical about fairies being completely immune to dragon, instead of resist. I was worried dragon this would be similar to how disastrously the psychic type was nerfed. (Dragon beats 1 type, resisted by 1, does nothing again 1. Psychic beats 2 types, resisted by 2, does nothing against 1.) I would have rather that both Fairy and Ice just resist Dragon as a less powerful nerf. Now that I see the metagame in action, dragons are still relevant but can't easily be spammed on the same team, which is nice. :)

Speaking of which, dragon was my 2nd least favorite type before Gen 6 because of how O.P. they were. My opinion of dragons have improved. Fairy is also my 4th favorite type. I still wish Ice resisted Dragon, as the ice type is waaay too bad defensively and its a natural change to make.

If it wasn't made abundantly clear by my username, theme, and overall forum presence; yes, I do like Fairy types. While initially I loved the newly revealed Sylveon design, it still took me a good amount of time before I completely fell in love with them. It was only after I got the chance to use them in battle and call them my own that I actually developed a very close bond with the entire Fairy typing. I think they're beautiful, dangerous, and just overall darling Pokemon!

Favorites include; ... ah ♥♥♥♥. all of them. :(

Definitely all of them,

I could never catch a Fairy type - my lack of knowledge of the newer Pokemon games really showed during my playthrough of Pokemon X...couldn't find the damn things! Anyway, I do like the Fairy type as it both gave the dominating Dragon type another weak point, and gives offensively underrated Poison and Steel types a chance to shine, while being adorable as hell. My favourite fairies are probably Gardevoir, Mawile and Azumarill - honourable mentions to Togekiss and Sylveon.

Not to mention, upon Mega Evolution, one of the best abilities in the game that causes it to have one of, if not the highest attack stat in the game.
It does have the highest Attack stat in the game -- and its so high that it literally breaks the base stat limit:
Bulbapedia said:
Mega Mawile has the highest Attack stat of any Pokémon, with a maximum of 678 (105 base Attack plus Huge Power). This is higher than the limit of 669 Attack (255 base Attack, as 255 is the highest possible 8-digit binary number), and would equal a Pokémon with 259 base Attack.

I wasn't sure if Medicham's Mega Evolution had the same or not. Gee, no wonder Mawile sees so much use in official ranked Battle Spot matches.

Hooray for Togekiss! I currently have an EV-trained one with 6IVs and all, all set for battling, but too bad that I can't find any space for it on my team right now, though.

I don't keep up with much so I wasn't expecting a new type, but when they revealed Sylveon and we had to guess its typing and then they gave a few other hints that ruled out the types I thought it could possibly be it seemed obvious it was going to be a new type. I figured light type, but other people mentioned fairy type and I thought that made sense too.

I really like them. I find them useful, more so than ice types which makes me a little sad because that was my go to for dragons. I think the older Pokemon that got retyped were good choices. Would of liked to seen fairy happiny/chansey/blissey but I can see why that didn't happen.
