Pretty much, yeah. Oh, and you can write anything for it, including fanfiction. I think the only NaNo I've actually read was an incomplete one by Dragonfree, who is off writing her new NaNo. I'd say that you should ask her about it if you want the inside scoop.

Oh, and as an off-topic question: How many people here have not read my preview? I might be specially inclined to read and review their fanfics if they did... *shot'ed*

Seriously, I'm going to catch up with some of this fanficness, starting with "Season Champs!" down. By the way, just a shout-out to Grovyle42: I officially envy you for getting fanfiction of the month on your first try. I know that was a bit overdue, but better late then never, right?

Slow down. Everyone here is very busy, and it takes a while to write up a good review. Just be patient. :)

Anyway, I've got a bunch of the beta work done, so I'm going to try and do a few reviews. I can't remember what order I got them in, so I'm just going to start with DP479's fic. I reviewed it once, but that was a while ago. Heh.
 
*Pretends he's not Griff* Poor Griff. I don't think he can help it if his chapters are too long even when he tries to get them under one post. Speaking of Griff's fic... he has a new chapter up if anyone's interested. I know I'll be reading it!

Alright... I understand, and anyway, I'm busy with rewriting Ch. 1 and Ch. 2 for my story. Gotten some reviews they were way to fast. Can't argue with that! Read thwm yesterday and saw they went fast, even when Jess battled Falkner. I'm working on them, plus the plan when Jess gets to the Hoenn Region and what she is going to be when she grows up.

National Novel Writing Month.

Which, incidentally, I will probably just give up on. I mean, I won't give up on the fic (because I really like the beginning -- ha, excuses, whut?), but I've got less than 25k words, and the last week of November looks like it's gonna be the inner depths of the Underworld. ;_; Why, college?! Why must you interfere with my happy times?!

On the positive side, after reviewing Jester Girl's fanfic, I suddenly remember why I have so much fun blasting apart fic leaving concrit. So, first off, I'd like to apologize to Turtle because I know I said I'd review his story eventually... kinda... sort of... might've been lost in the list. Second, if you're desperate for a review, drop me a PM, and I'd be happy to take on a stress reliever something new.

Yeah, just did. Great job, Scythe (I'm calling you that. Why must everyone have such long user names? Why?). Everyone needs to go read that. It really annoys me when people make simple mistakes like that. Yeah...
 
My NaNo's not doing well either. But at least I have 20,000 more words than I did last year. Go me. Trying to reach 50,000 words has been adding too much stress to my life. After thinking it over, I'm going to just type at a more leisurely pace and see how far I get.

And this means that I have more time to review. Like Jax, I apologize to TurtleKing for never getting around to his story. I'm going to try and catch up on what I promised to review.

But the Fan Fiction Awards and the Sacfrice results are both in. Congrats to all winners and participants! ^^

I guess it's for general chat and questions in place of creating useless, onetime threads.

ANd I also haven't read her fics (save the first few chapters, and IMO it wasn't hype worthy) *hides*

I've never read any of her works, and due to the long-chaptered Cross of Fates, probably never will. Although, I hear a lot through PMs with friends that if I ever want to be a really awesome writer, I have to read her fic at least once.
