I'm gonna go ahead and say it's some sort of Chansey/Blissy/Happiny Sweatshop!

Uhhhh...
I'm not sure, but definite props to the parents who gave birth to the 100 Joys and the 100 Jennys.
And they had the guts to give them all the same name.
Now that is parenting!
 
Someone should include a male Nurse Joy in their fic. That's something I'd like to see.

Which is why you never see Mama Joy or Papa Joy
Or maybe Papa Joy just did it several times with a huge set of twins.
*Shrugs*
And all the mothers died during childbirth.
And Papa Joy died form the stress of having 100 kids.

And then they were commissioned by the Pokemon League to run Sweat Shop Pokecenters for gruel and moldy bread. Oh, 'tis a cruel one, the Pokemon world is.

Most likely government funded. However, in the original version of NE there were lockers in the place and the people using it would have to pay. I then realized that there's a PC...XD;

A bit funny that there would be so many Jennys and Joys. XD However, I gave them different personalities. In NE, I had Jenny this carefree personality but also has trust issues, espically with her uncle. In DT, I had Nurse Joy use a rifle if someone complains there's no bacon. XD

The mothership pays them, of course. I think it could be some "Go green" deal where their services just better the community, thus free from higher resources. o.o (Um... yeah)

A bit much, but it's like a signature style. XD They've always had them, why stop? (By that I mean stop the current, not add) I think it's fine to have, as long as it doesn't go overboard. ;/

The same as my thoughts on why mothers send their kinds off at ten, and always offer you to take a "nap" when you get back home...they're all robots. :)

Kinda lazy on the part of the Anime directors. Having the same character for all police/nurses requires as little world building as possible.

Yeah, all of that was basically just me choosing a sillier way of saying that I personally have no actual theories regarding how Pokémon Centers can be free or regarding Joys and Jennies. X3;
 
In what stage of the writing process do you decide on a title?

Once I've decided I'm actually going to follow through with the concept. Titles come to me without much effort.

Creepy. But here's a theory: they're not actually related, but it's become something of a tradition to honor the original nurse by dressing like her and wearing a pink wig/dying their hair pink? And 'Joy' could be a slang term for 'Pokemon nurse' that became an official title through common use.

And oh my freaking shoes. That egg story...ughhhh!! Now it's got "I love that you're not using me for sexual reasons" randomly stuck in there. It makes me want to die!! D:
