It's Murphy's Law, Asty. When the mod's away, the n00bs come out to play, and there's very little that can be done about that. See, this adds to the case that Asty needs help (ie another PFF&P mod), but on the other hand, there really isn't that much going on here. We just attract awesome folks, and n00bs either don't bother coming here, or post their crapfic and bugger off. Either way, we don't see them that much. I wonder, though, if there's a way to program vB so that people have to read the rules of a forum before they first post in it? Because really, people just don't seem to get the fact that there are rules and that you are not too cool for them. They apply to you just as much as anybody else on this forum, and if you don't respect them, nobody here will respect you! The sheer audacity and cheek of some people is just beyond my understanding. I just don't see how some people can be that blatantly stupid/unobservant/don't-give-a-****/annoying!
