any more? XD
Oh, oh me next!

-Stubborn bribery: It acts real violent at first, you feed it something nice, it pretends to hate you, but it actually feels loyal and pretends to stick around you for the treats.
-Mind Control

That's all I have at the moment.

Also, Guys, name change privileges are being removed. Any final name changes?

-Um... you buy a Buick LeSabre off eBay and you discover the Pokemon in the trunk/glove compartment
-Your parents brought it home and gave it to you.
-That's all I got XD

And I'm still debating a name change... since it'll be the last, the process will require deep thought and consideration.

I had kind of thought of the nick 'Hellbender' but decided to stick with this name, as I do like it. XD (I've had it for 8 years on various websites).

Lots of examples XD

- You won it in a lottery
- You stole it from Team Rocket
- You saved it from Team Rocket
- You saved it from some people who eat pokemon
- You went hunting for Taurus and came across it
- God or some kind of higher power, gave it to you
- A random stranger says "It's dangerous to go alone, take this!" and hands you a pokemon (props to anyone who sees the reference)

I love you forever and ever and ever now. *got the reference*

-Another Pokemon was picking on it and you cheered it up afterwards. o3o?

I think I have an idea, I'll update you guy tonight if I get it to work. Thanks for the help.

I'm getting my name changed to "Sonerand"

Haha ;)

Good to hear. Hope it works out. ;)

I'd almost change my name to something in Latin even... Perhaps the Latin of Feign?

To feign is something like Fingere, so I'd have to chose the simple meaning of something like feign! so it looks better.

I was tempted to change mine to Hauntard (something you might get even though it's a bit of an inside joke), but I like my universal name too much. *jabs a thumb at current name*

Besides, I don't want to have to be known as Hauntard by everyone who doesn't already know me as DG. xD;

Lol makes sense. XD

So I looked it up, and I think I am right in saying that to say "Feign!" is to say it as "Fingi!"

Though I wonder what "Fingano" would translate to, it could be "Is feigned." or "To be feigned" not sure.

EDIT: Appreantly it is third person plural of giving an order, which is what I had sort of thought, seeing as Fingi is more in the sense of saying it to someone else (you).

Sonerand will allow me to change Pokemon theme's with out looking weird. Like when I was Buoysel I wouldn't want to run around with this avatar.

Sonerand is actually my last name switched around. I thought about Nosredna which is my last name spelled backwards, but it looked weird, and how the hell do you pronounce that? So I just took the syllables and put them in reverse order (And-er-son -> Son-er-and)

Hey guys, I was wondering if there was a good website that had a good review on punctuation use in dialogue. I should be okay with it in general though, as it is really just reading sentences out loud, but otherwise was just wondering if there was a definitive source. Thanks. :)

On a side note, I've been looking at a new laptop, a customizable Sony, series CW. It would cost me $1167 CAD.

Lol Astinus, this is how it's done.
Punctuating Dialogue
Click for minor lulz.

Anyway, on a less snarky note, try the Online Writing Lab at Purdue.

What a coincidence, I've been looking for a new laptop too. To replace the desktop PC I left in Malaysia... T_T

Edit: For bold topic.

While writing, have you ever been hit with the sudden realization, "Woah, I'm controlling a Mini-Universe!"?

Oh yes. Oh yes. Even though the published works don't make up an entire expanded universe yet, everything that I've brought to life in my mind certainly counts as one... to me, of course. But yeah, I like to think I control a little modified version of the Pokémon world in all of my stories, sticking to canon but also going ballistic with underdeveloped or canon-nonexistent concepts. (After reading this post over, I have discovered to my immense pleasure and chagrin that I have just summarized Pokémon Rebirth. Darn.)

Also: NEW BANNER W00T!!!!!11111!!!!ONE!

Yes and no. I have though "its my story, I can make what I want happen." That doesn't mean I go crazy either.

Hey guys, out of curiosity, What happened to the first Fan Fiction you ever wrote?
Mine, is probably 20 or more pages deep in the board. I started writing on it again after an eighteen month hiatus, but I am starting to loose interest in it again, rapidly. -_-

On the other hand I have another story idea that I started typing on, I only got about a hundred words before I though of this topic. So I wanted to ask you guys if you completed your first fic right away? Or did you comeback to it later?

I guess the correct bold topic would be: What do you do if you loose interest in your current fic and have ideas for another?

No, not yet, but I'm sure the farther along I get into writing my story (I'm just finishing Chapter Six), I'll come to realize it. In reality, I really am controlling a mini-universe because I'm controlling many of the Legendary Pokemon and supernatural aspects such as Judgment, reincarnation, Heaven/Purgatory/Earth, and some other things. As my characters and plot flesh out, I'll feel more like the one who shaped their destinies. >:o

EDIT: Darn it, 157. I'm going to have to edit my post for two topics now. xD

What do you do if you loose interest in your current fic and have ideas for another?

I'll put my current fic on hold and flesh out the ideas I have for the other. After I get bored of fleshing out the plot for that new fic, I'll try to work on the first one. Hopefully, I had a long enough break that will not make writing the first one like a chore or something I do day after day after day. If my interest still hasn't returned, I'll go do something else like playing video games or catching up on some anime series.

I haven't really lost interest in my fic because I just imagine all the fun bits coming up and grin to myself. Though, I do have ideas (oneshots, mostly), but I usually push them into the back of my mind and ignore them.

Considering the fact that I have my own personal, fictional canon, I tend to get this feeling all the time when I write about it... and it is the most amazing feeling in the WORLD, next to hugging chocolate puppies.

What do you do if you loose interest in your current fic and have ideas for another?
... Ehehe, I abandon the interest-lost fic and start up the other one. I can never seem to get interest back into whatever the uninteresting fic is/was, so this cycle continues and continues and...

Yeah, you get the idea. >:

I will do two things. A - regain interest in my first story, maybe by reading all of it over again or just daydreaming about the characters and settings I really like/want to write about. B - 'sit' on the new story idea and let it develop in my head. I find that good stories always need at least six months to sit and develop a universe, otherwise I will lose the will to work on them and they will inevitably be trashed, perhaps never to be looked at again. It's happened twice now, and I don't want to repeat it a third time.

Thanks, I guess since its been a year and a half since I last updated that my fic is as good as dead for now, who know maybe I'll hit another spark for it, untill then I'll just let it "sit"

As for this other idea, Well I have been thinking about it for quite some time (October ish of 2008) While the plot has changed some, the main idea has not: OT Pokemon POV.

I got a couple of really good paragraphs wrote before my sugar high crashed. lol I even got a title. I think I will work on it for a little while and see how long I can maintain interest.
