Favorite Anime Genre?

I love the Slice of Life/Comedy type anime with a little bit of action to keep it going (TMoHS). o.o I also like those shonen animes even though they go on forever and never end (Naruto). I don't mind seinen at all.

Quality is my only preference, though I like the darker breed of animé. I take seinen over shounen and move towards sober themes. Also, PSYCHOLOGY. There's nothing I like more than dialogue made of references to internal struggles and mental themes, or well-done stream-of-consciousness. There: I believe I have adequately described our great mother and our god, the twisted saviour and blessed super-being, Neon Genesis Evangelion. Weep for its suffering: the destitute budget, and the gratuitous Christian references. IT DIED FOR YOUR SINS.
