2nd Gen Favorite GSC City?

Goldenrod City. <3
&& Azalea.
 
These are my favorites:
• New Bark Town
• Azalea Town
• Goldenrod City
• Olivine City
• Mahogany Town
• Blackthorn City​
 
Ecruteak City. It's the classic japanese-style city. The two pagodas, the Dance theater, a ghost-type gym.
I'm hoping lots of japanese-style buildings in Ecruteak, a good shire/graveyard look for the gym and not-so-generic maps in the two pagodas.
 
Goldenrod City, mainly because it is the only one I can remember.
 
This seems more like a "What is your favorite G/S/C city?" due to us not even seeing the HG/SS cities, am I right? ;]
Anywho, my favorite has always bee Olivine. :3
 
Goldenrod has been a favorite of mines, so I'd like to see how its been imporved in the remake.
 
Goldenrod always, its just...radio tower, train, daycare, that gym...just too cool.

Order of likeness: Blackthorn, Azalea, Olivine, Ecruteak. I like them all actually, but I like Blackthorn b/c of the Dragon's Den and it looked different than the others. I had a different reaction to it than the others when I first saw it. I thought it looked pretty cool and I would love to see how they remake it. Especially the Dragon's Den.
 
Definitely Ecruteak is my favorite city. I like the fact that there's such a deep sense of history in that town with the towers. Also, Morty is one of my favorite Gym Leaders ever.

And of course, Goldenrod. There was just so much to do in that town.

Those are my favorites right now, but if things change in the remakes, then thing's might change.
 
You need to remember the game isn't yet released and the only city we've seen is New Bark Town, so I choose New Bark Town.

Even though all there is is New Bark Town and a small portion of Ecruteak City, it still doesn't mean people cannot refer back to what it was like in the originals. I mean nothing much will be changed with the cities in HeartGold and SoulSilver besides the different 2D/3D appearance. If you look at FRLG for example, the cities were basically kept the same except for the new look that the graphics gave it. Not to mention, even though New Bark Town shows the wind, that is only a minor change really.

Still, Goldenrod City would have to be my favorite of them all. To see what they do with it in the remake will definitely be great, especially with the new things they've added in with towns and cities since DPPt.
 
Goldenrod City is the best. It's huge ^^
 
Favourite Heart Gold/Soul Silver city?
Yeah... Heart Gold/Soul Silver hasn't been released yet, so how am I supposed to know?

We can be sure that New Bark Town is the town from one or two of the screenshots, but were not sure if the other one is actually Ecruteak or not.

But anyways, my favourite city would not be something solely based on graphics and new features, but will more likely be based on the feeling it gives me while being there and while thinking about it.
If that is the case, and were not talking about HG/SS, but were rather talking about G/S/C, then my favourite city would be Violet City.
 
Blackthorn City and Ecruteak City.
i cant wait to see how they update it
