Favorite Pokemon per generation?

What's your favorite Pokemon from each generation? I also threw favorite Mega Evolution in there as a bonus category.

I had a heard time to thinking of some of these...Don't like many from Gen 1 or Gen 3. :(

You might be the only person I've ever met who likes Stunfisk. I guess every Pokemon has fans, though. I adore Totodile and Gliscor, though. ^-^ They're among my favorites for each region respectively.

I'll admit I'm not the biggest Stunfisk fan... but only for two main reasons. It's the ONLY Pokemon that's Ground/Electric, and since I'm not crazy about its design that sort of bugs me a bit. There's also the fact that it doesn't evolve to or from anything, and when something is just a stand alone AND doesn't have like... really amazing stats it just bothers me a little, like they're leaving it out in the cold without proper attention.

I'd love an evolution or a Mega of it, though, and it's good to hear people actually LIKE it... because I really didn't know anyone did.

Yeah... it wasn't easy for me either. ^-^; I always hate leaving things out, there are so many I could have put...

Alwaysnice to see a fellow fan. ^-^ I remember tons of people use to praise Scyther, but Kabutops never got any love. Even when it came to fossil Pokemon, it was always Aerodactyl people crazed over. Kabutops was always my favorite fossil, though.

Another Pokemon that I never see anyone really give attention, so it's nice to see it get some love. Reuniclus is actually one of my favorite Psychic types to use... granted it's not a type I use much. And Volcarona amazing. @_@

Gen 5 is actually pretty difficult for me to decide, just because there are a ton of cool Pokemon. The same could be said about gen 4, as well.

For the gens I put more than one Pokemon down for, the left most one is the one I'd pick (if I HAD to pick just one)....but the other ones are close enough that I don't want to ignore them.

Gen I: Wartortle
It's so cool but cute at the same time. Those fuzzy ears, that tough look in its eyes, that blush, those little fangs, that fluffy tail... *Squee*
Honorable mentions: Lickitung and Mew

Gen II: Shiny Dunsparce
My favorite Pokemon of all. I originally got attached to Dunsparce when trying in vain to evolve it into Gligar as a kid, but what made it my favorite was when I found a Shiny one on Christmas (via PokeRadar) -- the first Shiny I ever found intentionally. I wasn't even using Repels!
Honorable mentions: Ho-Oh, Sneasel, Misdreavus, Furret, Girafarig, and Yanma

Gen III: Nuzleaf and Chimecho
Nuzleaf just looks like a cool, proud little dude (though the females disturb me a little). Chimecho has a cute, unique design.
Honorable mentions: Shedinja and Jirachi

Gen IV: Shiny Mothim and Froslass
Mothim is, in my opinion, the most visually-appealing Shiny of all. Froslass looks elegant, is really quick, and hits hard! Froslass made me fall in love with Ice-types (my default team was an Ice-monotype for a several years). I also like its PBR animation.
Honorable mentions: Leafeon and Shiny Glaceon

Gen V: Vanillite
My favorite food as a Pokemon! Plus, it's adorable (its evolutions, not so much). I just wish they would give it the Snow Warning Ability. :(
Honorable mentions: Purrloin, Oshawott, and Dewott

Gen VI: Meowstic (Male) and Avalugg
I love cats and Meowstic-M is adorable (particularly in its stock Sugimori and Dream World art). Avalugg, while not much of a looker, is really interesting and has awesome Defense (though it dies if hit by a Special Attack). It was also my first MM'd Shiny in XY (hatched as Bergmite).

Mega Evo: Slowbro and Shiny Beedrill
Mega Slowbro looks so derpy -- I love it! Shiny Mega Beedrill just looks really sleek and cool, plus it reminds me of a photo I once took of a green bee.

Gen I - Dewgong
I absolutely love Dewgong! People tend to bash him because of his ok stats but with a little knowledge
about IV's and EV training can fix that. Another Pokemon that I would like to mention is Ninetails.
Gen II - Houndoom
To say that I love houndoom would be an understatement.
Gen III - Manectric
A perfect double battle partner for my houndoom. And just a great single battle Pokemon over all.
Gen IV - Lucario
What could go wrong? He's a bipedal jackal! Lol
Gen V - Samurott
Has always been my strongest Pokemon in the Gen V games.
Gen VI - Delphox
