    yes the last three are all from one and the same tv show, i just love all three of them, they not super big but they deserve to be because omg they are so good

    i also like david schwimmer, matthew perry(both friends<) and robert carlyle(once upon a time<)

    who are your favs?

    Christopher Walken and Emma Thompson.

    Lately I've been enjoying Lucy Liu's performance as Joan Watson in Elementary. Other actors I like are Christopher Lee and Harrison Ford, which has something to do with me rewatching the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars movies, haha. There's also Jude Law even though I think I only watched a few movies of his.

    How different does Elementary feel to watch than Sherlock? I've put off watching it but am going through a bit of Doctor Who and Sherlock withdrawal so I might give it a go.

    Actors nowadays sucks. Many of them are playing roles that was never intended at all. Like that guy from "Alley McBeal" ( who was the little coward on "Boston Republic" as well ) plays some sorta hardcore detective who sounds like he gargles his mouth with peroxide.

    Favorite Actor is Arnold and that is about it. Everybody else is bs.

    Ah, Jude Law is one of my favorites ever since I saw A.I.

    It's quite different. Jonny Lee Miller comes off as a different kind of Sherlock, more of an actual weirdo/outcast rather than the straightforward smug kind of Sherlock that you get with Cumberbatch. Liu as Watson is more of a well rounded character who isn't a genius but isn't a silly sidekick type either and holds her own since they don't play down the fact that she's a doctor. The show feels, to me anyway, a little sillier at times, or maybe just more light hearted, but it's more character driven because you have more time to get to know the characters. Some of the plots are as convoluted as in Sherlock, but not usually. Elementary feels more dramatic whereas Sherlock feels more melodramatic.

    More or less what Esper said. I want to add though is while Sherlock is often compared to several mini movies and is faster paced, Elementary does take the time to develop the characters more and many times new characters that get introduced will come back. There's also how it seems in Sherlock most of the characters will look over Holmes' mistakes while in Elementary Holmes' mistakes sometimes gets called out.

    Great choices! Did you ever see Dead Ringers? {D:}

    De Niro is my favorite. Godfather II, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull. Plus he's in great comedies like King of Comedy and Midnight Run.

    Other than him I really like Gary Oldman, Christian Bale, Harvey Keitel and Christopher Walken. Then there's like cult favorites like Lance Henriksen, Robert Englund and Jackie Chan.

    Jason Statham without a doubt! When you see a DVD with his face on it, you know you can get a beer of 2, some friends, and proceed to have a great evening! :)
