Favourite game box art?

Kind of a thread correspondent with the 'do you collect game boxes', What are your favourite box art from physical copies of video games?

In recent years, I've definitely bought a lot more digital games and haven't really paid attention to box art, but with the Switch lately I have picked up more physical copies, so I'd say the Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster box art is really nice - the classic FF box art is usually the logo on a plain white background, so this was a cool departure (even though tbh it looks more like fan art)

I've always been a sucker for the MGS artstyle and for some reason this just sits with me as one of my favourites for some reason

Also can't go wrong with the Final Fantasy box arts, I can't think of a single one that isn't nice to look at really!

Disgaea 5 Complete

I don't think there's anything too special about the Disgaea 5 Complete boxart, but I think it perfectly captures what the game is essentially all about from a glance. It's whimsical game that doesn't take itself too seriously with a huge variety of characters you can play as. I think this boxart in particular does a damn good job of capturing the more goofy aspects of the game which is fine because again, Disgaea as a series doesn't take itself seriously. It's slightly better than the PS4 boxart because the PS4 one paints more of a picture of dreary hopelessness and while there is kind of an element to that, it's not too prevalent.



Ys VIII

I still haven't touched this game yet because I have a stupidly absurd backlog of games that I have to beat first, but I was definitely attracted to Ys VIII because of the boxart for sure!

also, I don't own this game yet, but the Shining Resonance Refrain boxart is super nice because it's holographic iirc. I was almost tempted to get it until I was turned away by the meh reviews of it. .__.
