    What are your favourite music videos and why? If possible, please post youtube links to the videos so we can all see them.

    Here are some of mine in no particular order:

    Muse - Knights Of Cydonia
    Just epic. And very symbolic too! A must see.

    Muse - Hysteria
    Perfect representation of the frustrations of love.

    Radiohead - Just
    Very intreging twist to this video. Watch it to the end to find it out. It leaves you bewildered.

    Ok Go - Here It Goes Again
    Very witty, original and excellent choreography (all by the band's bassist). Always brings a smile to my face.

    Michael Jackson - Thriller
    Need I say more?

    Serj Tankian - Empty Walls
    Symbolism of the most tongue-in-cheek! The perfect anti-war video.

    Johnny Cash - Hurt
    The saddest music video ever. Recorded just before his death; it is a wonderful tribute to his life. His wrongs, his rights and how he turned out in the end. In my opinion, the greatest music video of all time.

    i fell in love with both the video and song the first time i heard/saw it.
     
    Death Cab For Cutie's Grapevine Fires. That video will make you get choked up.
     
    For me it's got to be The Kill by 30 Seconds To Mars. The video is one of the best I've ever seen, it's shot just like The Shining it's an obvious referrance to the film but it's really well done. It's a lot like the film but more contemorary. It also has a nice dash of humour in there too. It's by far my favourite video, not to mention it's a really good song. I believe it won a few awards too, Wiki says:

    • Won "Best Single" at the Kerrang! Awards 2007.
    • On August 31, 2006, the band won the MTV2 Award for "The Kill" at the MTV Video Music Awards,.
    • "The Kill" was awarded Best Video of the Year and Best Rock Video at the MTV Australia Video Music Awards (AVMAs).
    • Won The Rock Out! Award at the 2007 MTV EMA's (Europe Music Awards).
    It's a great video, it's one to check out if your browsing youtube.
     
    People in Planes-Pretty Buildings= A nice video to go along with the song, also fits well [I think] with the lyrical factorz
    Uprising-Muse= Because there are huge teddies in there b^.^b also I liked it when Matt launched his guitar at the window, pwetty epic.

    Definitely agree- wonderful MV. Amazing song, too. Full of emotion. x_x



    Personally, I like:

    Run by Epik High
    I adore the first person POV, and the whole thing was pretty sad. Especially at the end.
    And for the fangirl point of view, Tablo looked pretty good in this MV.

    Heartbeat by 2PM
    Definitely a very... boyband type MV- but the dance moves are very original.
    This song is all about the MV though. It's terrible if you hear it without the MV, but it's good if you hear it with.
    Which is why I decided to add it to the list of MV's I like. xD


    Unfortunately, I don't remember the MV's for very many English songs. xD;
    Concrete Angel by Martina Mcbride was a good MV and a good song, but... not my favorite, just the only one that comes to mind. xD;


    edit: Oh, I Don't Care by Fall Out Boy was a very amusing MV. Particularly the grinding on the mime. I laughed really hard at that.

    Single Ladies by Beyonce. Choreography was amazing in the MV. The song is just as great.
