    Pokemon Puzzle League.

Sapphire in close second, then Crystal.

I think it would have to be GSC for me, mainly because of my nostalgia clouded goggles. After playing RBY, this game had improved on it so much that as a child, I was amazed. The newly implanted night/day system, traveling between Kanto and Johto, and just the childlike joy of expereincing new Pokemon.

And I think the new legendaries captivated me, too. As a child, I thought that all of backstories behind them was amazing, especially the Alph Ruins (If you count Unown as a legendary, I guess).

But yeah. I have to say that Emerald is in a close second, because I have fond memories of playing it with friends and I absolutely loved the landscape. >___>

fire red. I loved the remake of the fisrt game a lot. it brought back some good times and had a few new things

Pokemon Silver. My first ever pokemon game. I love it so much!
I got it imported from Austrailia, from my Aunt named Tammy, who bought it as a christmas preasent.
oh, the joy of it all! :)

I liked Red Version for the nostalgia factor. I enjoyed it so much back when it was first released, and a lot of the original 150 still remain in my cluster of favorites.

Plus, there was the time when Special Attack and Special Defense hadn't been split yet, and Amnesia was like a roided version of Nasty Plot/Tail Glow. And then there was the fact that because IV's and EV's hadn't been introduced yet, that all Pokemon had 31 IV's and 255 EV's on every stat. :>

Oh, I miss the good days...back when, in comparison, movepools sucked. Because back then, there was no reference for such comparisons.

Actually there were IVs, but they capped at 15, but with the stat calculation formula at the time, they had less of an effect than they did from genIII onwards...and EVs replaced Stat Exp., a similar concept from the REBYGSC era that had absolutely no cap by my recollection...if your pokemon needed a boost in defense, go out and defeat a ton of wild geodude, drop it in the PC, and withdraw it. XD

    My favorite game?

It's a tossup between Crystal and Emerald. Crystal for pretty much everyone else's reasons...nostalgia, Johto being awesome, the epicness of two regions and sixteen badges, Red, etc...

...but Emerald was a good game in its own right, and I still don't understand why Hoenn gets all the hate that it does when it was a solid adventure in its own right, and, to be honest, Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza are my favorite legendaries in the whole series, and Team Aqua/Team Magma are my favorite villainous teams primarily because we get to see their rivalry play out all the way up to when they both realize how stupid they are. :P

For graphics, obviously RSE. Generation 3 had the smoothest framerate, and also undistorted, vibrant, crisp, clean graphics.
For gameplay, HGSS. Fighting a L84-L88 superteam? Yes please, even if I do have to go through hail.
For music, a tieup between HGSS and GSC. HGSS was the best overall, but songs like the route to Victory Road (28?), Goldenrod, and the ending credits were much stronger and gave me goosebumps on GSC while HGSS failed to do that.

    Overall, HGSS.

    I'm a bit of a Silver fanatic, if you couldn't tell. ^_^

My favorite would have to be yellow. Then would come platinum and then silver. I have a feeling soul silver will take over the bunch.

Well I really love Pokemon Platinum, Emerald, Crystal and the Mystery Dungeon games the most

    Pokemon Yellow for sure!

I also really enjoyed Pokemon Gold, and Im looking forward for its remakes release next year!

    Fwah!

    I enjoyed Diamond, and Emerald.
I definitly loved Silver. It was fun, because I always compared what the PokéBalls looked like from Silver to Diamond.
