Sometimes I like using semi-colons to act as substitutes for periods. I also use brackets/parentheses to explain what I mean. I like hyphens; I use them whenever I feel like them.

Apostrophes. If you've ever seen any of my texts (essays, papers, DBQ's, etc.) you'll see that I use them. And it makes me look smart. :)
