Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

Oh god, so much catching up. 3 hours I'll never get back. XD

Day 01 - Very First Anime
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

Dragonball Z, for sure. Pokemon and Digimon came shortly after that, but I remember watching DBZ in my friend's basement because my parents thought it was too violent.

Day 02 - Your Anime Crush
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

Anyone who knows me, knows I fanboy over a different anime girl like... three times a month, but I'd say my main crush is Nia Teppelin from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I find both iterations of her, her child self and then adult self, absolutely charming, and despite her fate at the end of the series, I've remained faithful.

Day 03 - Current (or most recent) anime wallpaper
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

I try to rotate my wallpaper twice a month to keep things different. Right now I'm using a wallpaper of the 00 XN Raiser from Gundam 00.

Day 04 - Anime Guilty Pleasure
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

I think my biggest guilty pleasure would be the Sora no Otoshimono | Heaven's Lost Property series. The plot revolves around a giga-pervert hatching perverted scheme after scheme with the help of busty, robot, angels (Nymph exempt). I really like the show, and I find it soooo funny. At times though, it hits the right level of seriousness.

Day 05 - Anime you think had the best/most intriguing art
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

This is one of those hard to answer questions. A lot of shows have really good art in completely different ways. The first show that popped into my mind when I thought of an answer was STAR DRIVER, though, so lets go with that. It was bright, colourful, and the backgrounds during Zero Time were absolutely gorgeous.

Day 06 - Favorite AMV/MAD
My most recent favorite AMV is a Gurren Lagann AMV that makes use of the song "Shugoshin ~The Guardian~", the opening for Shin Mazinger Z. Warning for those who don't want to be spoiled, it pretty much covers the entire show in like 4 minutes. You can watch it here. It's just... epic. Alternatively, I really like another Gurren Lagann AMV done with the song "GONG" by JAM Project, here. Again, though, spoilers.

Day 07 - Most treasured anime-related merchandise
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

Hm... I just bought a few Makise Kurisu figures I really like, but I think my most treasured merchandise would be my Super Robot Wars games. A mash up of mecha series with strategy RPG gameplay? Hell yes.

Day 08 - Favorite Action/Adventure
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

This one is easy for me. TIGER & BUNNY was a breakout hit last year, and for good reason. It's characters were lovable, the story great, and the action sequences amazing. Watching Kotetsu and Barnaby kick villain ass was never boring nor repetitive, and it looked awesome.

Day 09 - Favorite Slice of Life
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

As stupid as the show is at heart, I really found Nichijou to be extremely enjoyable. The gags had a tendency to be a little dumb, but they were generally so over the top that they were hilarious. The subplot with Nano wanting to be a real girl was extremely cute, too. I went into it originally thinking it was going to be a waste of time, but when it ended I really missed it. I still rewatch episodes every so often to ease the pain.

Day 10 - Favorite SciFi/Mecha anime
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

WHY DO I HAVE TO PICK A FAVORITE MECHA ANIME? Hardest question ever. Ultimately, I think it's a very close running between Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Macross Frontier, but TTGL probably takes it. The characters are extremely likable in both series, and they bring different types of action to the table. Frontier gets bonus points for having an awesome OST with Ranka and Sheryl's songs being some of my favorite anime themes of all time. Gurren Lagann, well... I shouldn't need to say more than "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK WE ARE?". In terms of pure sci-fi, Steins;Gate is my favorite by far.

Day 11 - Favorite Shonen anime
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

The most recent shounen I really liked was Ao no Exorcist. Sure, it deviated from the manga plot halfway through, but I understand why they did it. Rin and Yukio were just really cool, and in the end, shounen is all about cool dudes being cool while kicking ass. Even if Rin did end up on his ass half the time.

Day 12 - Favorite Shoujo anime
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

Fruits Basket. Definitely Fruits Basket. I liked all of the characters and Tohru was adorable omg.

Day 13 - Favorite Seinen anime
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

Well... Wiki says Full Metal Panic! is a seinen series, so let's go with that. XD Another mecha series. Surprised? You shouldn't be. I wish I had more reasons than "it was awesome", though.

Day 14 - Favorite Josei anime
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

asdfghjkl; definately Usagi Drop. omg Rin was soooo cute. That aside, the drama was really well played out, and the struggles Daikichi and Rin had to overcome as a temporary father / daughter duo were both touching and realistic.

Day 15 - Favorite hero/heroine
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

Regardless of how gar Simon from Gurren Lagann is, or how cool Alto Saotome from Macross Frontier is, I think my favorite hero of all time is Kaburagi T. Kotetsu from TIGER & BUNNY. He's just an extremely endearing character, and it's easy to get behind him and really feel for the guy. He's a superhero, sure, but all the guy wants is for his daughter to think he's cool!

Day 16 - Favorite villain
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

I don't generally sympathize with villains, but I really liked Kirishiki Sunako from Shiki | Corpse Demon. While she is ultimately the main antagonist of the series, the writers did a great job of blurring the line between good and evil in the last leg of the show. She's not evil in the traditional sense, she's only evil because humans label her as such.

Day 17 - Favorite couple
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

Yay, something else where I can use Gurren Lagann! Simon x Nia is my absolute favorite pairing ever (which is depressing, since Nia is also my crush). The two of them are just super cute together, and you know you're in love with the right guy when he beats the crap out of a force strong enough to oppress the entire universe, just to get you back.

Day 18 - Favorite side character
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

Kaka! My choice for this section would be Oshino Shinobu from Bakemonogatari / Nisemonogatari. I really liked her back in Bakemono, but she really shines in Nisemono when she starts talking. Her witty conversations and sharp tongue paired with her love for donuts makes her pure win.

Day 19 - Favorite character design
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

There are a lot of creative and eccentric character designs out there, but I really like the look of Eucliwood Hellscythe from Kore wa Zombie Desu ka!?. I love the colours and design of her dress, and the armor makes her look a little odd while still cute. Her silver hair and blue eyes are great as well.

Day 20 - Character you feel you are most like
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

Haha... I'm probably like a cross between Okabe Rintarou and Daru from Steins;Gate.

Day 21 - Character you want to cosplay
Speaking of Okabe, that's who I'll be cosplaying as at Anime North next year.

Day 22 - Favorite Animation Studio
[PokeCommunity.com] Final Day: Day 30 - Favorite Anime

GONZO, for sure. Their stuff always has a crisp, colourful look, with amazing character designs and an overall unique feel to what they do. SHAFT would be a close second, but they can be a little bit cheap at times.

Day 23 - Favorite director
I don't really know much about directors, to be honest. I'll go with Shōji Kawamori, though, since I like his work in Macross and Aquarion.

Day 24 - Favourite Voice Actor/Actress
She's been used a lot lately, but I really like Hanazawa Kana. Her work is just amazing, and I love her voice, particularly as Mayuri in Steins;Gate and Zessica in Aquarion EVOL.

Day 24 - Favourite Voice Actor/Actress

Hanazawa Kana

Kanaan recently surpassed Sawashiro Miyuki as favorite. While the variety of range isn't too much right now, her voice remains insanely cute. And her being hyper is amusing to listen to.

Also a mention to Kugimiya Rie so long as she's not doing a Kugyuu character.

Male voice actors, it'd probably be Midorikawa, Koyasu, or Tomokazu Seki

Day 25 - Favorite anime soundtrack

I can't wait until tomorrow to share my absolute favorites

Sadly I never owned a soundtrack but one. So I don't exactly know which songs is on which album/soundtrack. So I'm going to have to post the one I actually owned for this one!

Unfortunately its this Yu-Gi-Oh! the movie soundtrack. I love the Blind Ambition song and the Yu-Gi-Oh! theme song apparently on it. The rest were good to awesome. But none of these songs actually are great compare to some others I can't wait to share the next day of the challenge \m/

Day 25 - Favourite Anime Soundtrack

Pretty much any soundtrack that's produced by Susumu Hirasawa. If I had to narrow it down it would probably be Millennium Actress' OST. Some tracks are sound bright and hopeful, others sound sad and depressing but overall it's a good mix. Hirasawa is fantastic at producing electronic music.

Yuki Kajiura makes good soundtracks as well. I love her use of vocals, and so far I'm loving the soundtrack she made for Madoka, which I'm currently watching.

Oh boy, 25 days in. This is going to be a loooong post.

Day 01 - Very First Anime
I'm pretty sure that was Sailor Moon. I used to get up ridiculously early just so I could watch it; it was Power Rangers in cartoon format with girls, and was therefore instantly worthy of my attention. xD

Day 02 - Your Anime Crush
It WAS Cure Muse for a brief time, but then I found out who she was behind the mask, and...well. Yeah. Uh, let's not go there. I'd prefer to forget it ever happened.
Now...either Yin or Suigintou. The pink eyes, grey-white hair and subdued gothic clothing (and in Suigintou's case, the megalomania) are all wonderful...and I have a thing for white hair >.>

Day 03 - Current (or most recent) anime wallpaper
I'm currently using a Death Note wallpaper that I've had for forever; I like the text and the intricacy of it. Been meaning to change it, but...eh.

Day 04 - Anime Guilty Pleasure
Probably Suite Precure. I still can't believe how much I love this anime, and I really shouldn't; it's aimed primarily at girls half my age. But then, I'm less than half my age at heart and I've never paid much attention to gender roles, so...eh. xD

Day 05 - Anime you think had the best/most intriguing art
Best? Hellsing Ultimate; it's absolutely gorgeous, and delightfully graphic. Gore has never looked so pretty before.
Most intriguing? Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, which I have yet to watch. The art style is intriguing, to say the least.

Day 06 - Favorite AMV/MAD
AMV:

This was the first AMV I saw, and I've yet to see a better one. It also introduced me to Princess Tutu, for which I shall be eternally grateful~

MAD:

Whoever made this was a genius; I cackle every time I see it. xD

Day 07 - Most treasured anime-related merchandise
My Rozen Maiden keyrings? They're adorable; it'd be nice if I had Barasuishou and Kirakishou keyrings as well, but I'm content with them; I tend to have at least one (usually Hina-Ichigo, although I've taken to carrying Kanaria around recently) attached to my keys. I also have a lot of DVDs and some very nice plushies~

Day 08 - Favorite Action/Adventure
Tiger and Bunny. It's a show about super heroes doing their thing. It has a wonderfully endearing cast of characters, a fantastic soundtrack, and Yuri Petrov, the most awesome anti-hero (or villain, depending on your perspective; personally I think his ambitions are rather noble) ever.

Day 09 - Favorite Slice of Life
Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. This isn't a genre I delve into very often, but for this I made an excuse. It's HILARIOUS. I STILL get more laughs out of the first season than I do out of the rest of the anime I've watched combined. It takes stuff you wouldn't usually think about and twists it something awful, has a wonderfully varied cast of characters and, of course, a lot of references. The OP is creepy, as well...and sung by the main cast, which is a nice touch.

Day 10 - Favorite SciFi/Mecha anime
There are so many candidates for this one. But despite the brilliance of both Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Steins;Gate, I'm going to have to say Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, because the story trumps them both. I've watched it at least five times now and I STILL pick up on things I missed; it never gets old no matter how many times I watch it. Both the individual episodes and the main story arc are clearly thought out and as fantastic as the films. Plus the Tachikomatic Days specials at the end are amazing. xD

Day 11 - Favorite Shonen anime
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, I think. Whilst the original series isn't without its charm, I like everything about this series more other than a) the lack of Fullmetal vs. Flame episode and b) Envy. But it had an engaging story, didn't drag out, and didn't bore me, which a lot of anime over 26 episodes have a nasty habit of doing.

Day 12 - Favorite Shoujo anime
At the moment (this may change; I'm enjoying Suite Precure immensely and will be watching Heartcatch and Smile afterwards) it's Princess Tutu, because I was blown away by how AMAZING the story for that was. A collection of fairytales brought around an overarching plot with remarkable skill and care. It was a bit slow to start, but it's certainly unique, the soundtrack is incredible, and I really connected with the cast. One of my favourite anime to date.

Day 13 - Favorite Seinen anime
Well, apparently Chobits is a Seinen anime, so we'll go with that. I think I enjoyed this more for the fact that Crispin Freeman voiced Hideki in the dub version than anything else; that was a very atypical role for him, and it had me in stitches. Dismal plot, fantastic dialogue, which make it worth the watch. xD

Day 14 - Favorite Josei anime
Well, according to the lists I see online, I've not seen a Josei anime yet, so I can't answer this one. Although I will say that Pet Shop of Horrors has caught my eye...

Day 15 - Favorite hero/heroine
Well, if not for the truly awful finish, it WOULD have been Light from Death Note, for his superb characterization and rational denial of conventional morality to change the world for the better.

But, given how terrible Death Note was after episode 25, I'm going to go with Simon, from Gurren Lagann. I wasn't expecting him to amount to much - with Kamina beside him, who would? - but he really surprised me by becoming his own man at the end, and dealing with life as it came to him.

Heroine is much easier: Ahiru, from Princess Tutu. She is a heroine in the truest sense I think, because of her desire to save a Prince entirely unconnected for her for his own sake; she doesn't start out that way, but that is ultimately what it becomes, and her story is both moving, tragic, and more than a little unfair.

Day 16 - Favorite villain
This is harder, but for different reasons: I generally find anime villains to be lacklustre; they never get as much development as the main characters.

I'll go with one of two: either Toyotomi Hideyoshi in Sengoku Basara Two, because he punches apart oceans and clouds with his fists and he's something like eight feet tall, or Wrath in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, because he more than lives up to his name when he storms central command by himself. That was probably my favourite part of the anime.

Day 17 - Favorite couple
Hei and Yin, in Darker than BLACK. Well, it's vaguely implied, but I still think it's cute. For a pairing that is actually legitimately stated in an anime...Rue x Mythos, in Princess Tutu. That was literally a fairytale pairing <3

Day 18 - Favorite side character
Femio, from Princess Tutu. This guy...oh, words fail me.

Day 19 - Favorite character design
Kirakishou, from Rozen Maiden. She's absolutely gorgeous, and utterly deranged to boot, and I feel sorry for her, at least in the manga. Her anime counterpart, after a fashion, would be Barasuishou, who is only slightly less amazing.

Day 20 - Character you feel you are most like
A lot of people have likened me to Kyuubei for some weird reason, as well as Light Yagami, although I can't say I like that comparison very much. Of the two, I think the first is probably more accurate, as I tend to look at the larger picture, and I find morality to be incomprehensible when you can change it to suit your own whims: the ends are all that matter, not the means by which you achieve it.

...I also seduce young girls into becoming my pawns and twists their minds, but let's keep that between us, shall we? /shot

Day 21 - Character you want to cosplay
Jeremiah Gottwald. I dislike Code Geass, but I'd LOVE to cosplay as Orange. I just want to run around screaming "ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!" or "ZEROOOO!" as loudly as I can. xD

Day 22 - Favorite Animation Studio
Probably Studio Bones. They've done a lot of my favourite anime~

Day 23 - Favorite director
Mamoru Hosoda, because I actually prefer his movies to the Ghibli movies. Summer Wars and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time are both favourites of mine~

Day 24 - Favourite Voice Actor/Actress
Norio Wakamoto. Without question. Much as I love various dub voice actors, Wakamoto easily comes out tops when it comes to epic voices. I love the way he enunciates and draws out some of his sentences; he's like a Japanese version of Boss Nass or something. xD

Day 25 - Favourite Anime Soundtrack
Suite Precure, without a doubt. Part of the reason I'm watching this show is because I absolutely LOVE the soundtrack. It's musical themed, so I would expect it to be this good. Honourary mentions go to Madoka Magica, Noein and Princess Tutu, but ultimately Suite Precure wins out, for tracks like this...

...and this...

...as well an amazing transformation theme topped only by Smile Precure's:

I can, and have, listened to this OST all night; it's amazing <3

All caught up...and that took most of the night. xD

Day 21 - Character you want to cosplay
N/A

Day 22 - Favorite Animation Studio
No particular favorite, there are a lot of good ones and a lot of bad ones, though.
Day 23 - Favorite director
N/A
Day 24 - Favorite voice actor/actress
Sakura Tange
Day 25 - Favorite anime soundtrack
CCS

Day 25 - Favorite Anime Soundtrack

Gonna say Higurashi for the most part because of the ending theme for Rei and how it's the only thing able to make me cry anymore, but the Tales Of Symphonia and High School Of The Dead OSTs pick up 2nd and 3rd place respectively for me.

Day 25 - Favorite anime soundtrack
The soundtrack to TMoHS. With songs like Hare Hare Yukai, God Knows and dramatic fillers, that's really a soundtrack to watch out for.

Day 25 - Favorite anime soundtrack

I've always been a fan of any soundtrack done by Kajiura Yuki (Mai Hime, Madoka, fate/zero, Kara no Kyoukai) and Key Sounds Label (Kanon, AIR, Clannad, Little Bus(ters))

Note:
For those that don't know, Insert Songs (IN) are (vocal) songs that play during the episode. Usual occurrences include concert scenes, montages, and in cases that don't have a different theme every so many episodes, alternate ending themes.

OP/ED obviously stands for Opening Theme and Ending Theme respectively.

Day 26 - Favourite Anime Theme Song (OP/ ED/ IN)

OP- Uh... Guns & Roses from Baccano! I guess :S I usually skip opening and ending themes >.>

ED- Ray of Light from Fullmetal Alchemist is one that I actually listened to once or twice and did enjoy.

IN- God Knows The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Well this song is awesome plus Im learning to play it on guitar atm so gets even more votes!

Again I really don't listen to the opening or ending themes that often so its really more the ones I can remember then are my favourites :S

Day 26 - Favourite Anime Theme Song (OP/ED)

OP:

I love all the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei OP songs, but that one wins purely for being the most messed up. I have to wonder what the hell was going through their minds when they came up with THAT...

ED:

This was an easy choice...that's the only ED I've seen that manages to be cute and disturbing at the same time.

IN:

I don't really pay much attention to INs; probably because up to this point I wasn't even aware of them. The first one that came to mind that I DO remember is this song from Zetsubou Sensei that Kafuka sings as a part of the episode...the lyrics; my GOD. xD

Day 26 - Favorite anime theme song (OP/ED/IN)
Tried not to get obsessed! haha
OP
Certainly have a few favorites here. Listing 'em all in order of favorites. There's 4 as a heads up for the OP. Shakugan no Shana is my all-time favorite. Code Geass (2nd Video) is long because it has 5 different themes song in one video. Orange Range is missing however, but I gave up finding the right video -_- Then Angel Beats followed by Air TV!!
Spoiler:

ED
Without a doubt, the award goes to. BAKA TO TEST!!
Spoiler:

IN
Toughest to decide, so I'll choose: Moon Revenge from Sailor Moon. I had a video that actually played the music during an episode but...I don't want to ruin the spoiler for those who hasn't seen it...for some reason xD
Spoiler:

Day 26: Favorite anime theme song

OP: Platina/Platinum - Sakamoto Maaya (Cardcaptor Sakura OP3)

Maaya Sakamoto's singing with Yoko Kanno's music is god tier. This has consistently been in my top 3 slots for anime themes in general for years. Also, I'm a sucker for most songs that have strings and piano.
Followers include Tori no Uta (AIR), Toki wo Kizamu Uta (CLANNAD ~After Story~), and Tatta Hitotsu no Omoi (Gunslinger Girl -Il Teatrino)

ED: Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari - supercell feat. (yanagi) nagi (Bakemonogatari ED)

Those who know me enough will know that I'm a pretty big supercell fan. While Sayonara Memories is my favorite during the time nagi was singing, this is definitely my favorite anime theme song of them.
Follows include all iterations of Secret Base ~Kimi ga Kureta Mono~ (Original by Zone, redone by the casts of Kyou no Go no Ni and Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai), Brave Song (Angel Beats), Farewell Song (AIR), Doll (Gunslinger Girl -Il Teatrino-), Endless Rain (X the Movie) and Bokura no Jikan (Futakoi Alternative)

IN: The big ones I can think of off the top of my head are Yakusoku (The Idolm@ster), Ichiban no Takaramono (Angel Beats!), Chiisa na Te no Hira (CLANNAD), and God Knows (Haruhi), so I'll throw those 3 down. The first three have spoilerish scenes when they're played, so I'll just leave those to the songs.

yakusoku - Kisaragi Chihaya (Asami Imai)

Ichiban no Takaramono (Yui Version) - LiSA

Chiisa na Te no Hira - riya

God Knows - Aya Hirano

Day 27 - Favourite Scene

My favourite scene is from Baccano! When Claire/Vino is fighting Ladd and is basically just being unstoppable. Its incredible! Also when the crazy guy tries to fight Claire hes awesome as well. <3
Those are definitely and easily some of my favourites if not favourite scenes. Claires just awesome.

Day 22 - Favorite Animation Studio
I don't have one.

Day 23 - Favorite director
I don't have one.

Day 24 - Favorite voice actor/actress
I have three that I like.
Hanazawa Kana. She's had some roles that I've really liked, Charlotte from Infinite Stratos, Kanade from Angel Beats, and a few others. But as of late Mayuri from Steins;Gate, and Zessica from Aquarion.

Kamiya Hiroshi. I loved his role as Otonashi in Angel Beats, and Araragi from Bakemonogatari/Nisemonogatari.

Kugimiya Rie. Yes yes the Kugyu tsundere loli queen. Truth be told, I think she's better when she isn't playing that sort of role. But still over all I like what's done.

Day 25 - Favorite anime soundtrack
Angel Beats!. The music is one of the reasons why I liked AB so much. Even from the first ep the music really stood out to me. Most series I have 2 or 3 songs I like and that's about it. But Angel Beats' music was so good and really set the mood. Songs like Crow Song, Ichiban no Takaramono, Theme of the SSS, Unjust Life, Otonashi, and others. And then you had the awesome OP/ED. My Soul, Your Beats and Brave Song are among my fav OP/ED songs.

Day 26 - Favorite anime theme song (OP/ED/IN)
OP
Only My Railgun (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun)

Full
This is the only OP/Song that single handedly made me watch a series. Not because of the animation, not because before hand I was like "I'm going to watch it", not because I was bored or didn't have anything to watch, but because of the song. David linked it to me and I started downloading Index that night or the day after just so I could finished it to get to Railgun. That is why Only My Railgun is my all time fav song.

ED
I have two for ED.

Toki Tsukasadoru Juuni no Meiyaku (Steins;Gate)

Full
I believe this was a perfect ending theme for the show each week. It just had that feel that went with the series. I can't really explain it, sort of a "something is happening" feel I guess is one way to put it (and I just made 20 people go "What?..." XD), since most eps ended on that feel the song went right along. I loved it from the very start, I mean sure the animation was.... well there isn't really an animation. But still, I loved the song. I've seen all 24 eps from start to finish 3 times now (first time with David every week, rewatched it, and then another time with Morkula), and each time I've seen it I have yet to skip the ending. And for the past year (I think it came around around this time last year) it's been the most played song on my iPod and on my computer.

Resuscitated Hope (Gosick)

Full
The first ep of Gosick has an ending fade-in. So I had to listen to this boat blow it's horn every single time I listened to the song (for a week), and I couldn't tell you the number of times I'd just play that ending part over and over. So I was very very happy when the next ep rolled around and I didn't have to listen to that boat to ruin the song. And when the full version rolled out I had to have been in tears due to being so happy.

IN
Bios (Guilty Crown)

When this song first came up I think my jaw dropped (I'm not kidding). I couldn't get enough of the song. When the OST came out this was the song I looked forward to the most, it's the reason why I was so quick to download it. This has to be in my top 10 overall fav songs.

Day 27 - Favorite scene
Steins;Gate ep 24
Spoiler:

Day 26 - Favorite anime theme song (OP/ED)
OP: Check My Soul (Amagami SS Plus OP)

My favorite one atm is a nice sounding pop number that's just pleasant to listen to.
ED: Ganabalance de Dance (Yes! Precure 5 Gogo ED)

I love (trying and completely failing) to dance to this one :P

Day 27 - Favorite scene
Gunsmith Cats OVA Ep 2 Car Chase scene

Very rarely do anime (or animated shows from anywhere) get car chase scenes done correctly. Here is an exception. This classic chase scene manages to be exciting and gripping without being unrealistic. In short, it's just plain awesome. Anything involving explosions, cars, and guns usually is.

Day 26 - Favorite anime theme song (OP/ED/IN)

OP: We Will Be Heroes - Pokemon (Battle Dimension)

Such a happy and exciting song sets the scene perfectly for the adventures typically in the Pokemon show; plus the lyrics are awesome c;

ED: Hare Hare Yukai - TMoHS

THE DANCE OMG <3 This song is just so amazing it puts all other ending themes to shame. It's such a good song with a great dance and video and it's a perfect summary of the SOS Brigade's spirit; plus the expression constantly on Yuki's face is very well thought out for those that know the show.

IN: God Knows - TMoHS

Just purely epic tbh. There's not much more to say about it other than it's an amazing song, the video is magnificent (bunny-girl Haruhi omg <3) and it's just a top notch episode. Plus the surprise of Haruhi doing this is wonderfully exciting!

Day 27 - Favorite scene

This scene is just so adorable and full of awww <3 I was trying to find a clip which also includes the bit after whilst she's struggling to get up and she's jumping around like a caterpillar but yeah, this is the best clip I could find. I thought of this scene in particular due to the transition from a sweet, loving, caring feel, straight to a hilarious "omg lol" feel. But yeah, the video only includes the first bit unfortunately so enjoy!

Day 27 - Favorite Scene

Hands down this will be from Code Geass. I showed a video, but please read the spoilers..I don't want to ruin the fun for ANYONE but we're given a chance to share our favorite scene for today...
