I searched and didn't see a thread about Firefox addons. So what addons do all of you use? Here's my list.

    Extensions:
    Adblock Plus: simply awesome
bug489729: this was in a recent thread; it disables the "tear tab" functionality
DownloadHelper: lists any video content on a page and allows you to download; for YouTube, it lists all quality versions and lets you pick which one you want
DownThemAll!: lets you download a lot of content off a site at once
Extended Copy Menu: lets me copy stuff as plain text
Firebug: useful for looking at site structure or examining objects
Firefox Throttle (disabled): I turn this on if other people need some bandwidth and I'm sapping it all up with a download
Fission (disabled): Safari-like blue loading bar over the URL address box
IE Tab (disabled): IE rendering of pages; I rarely need to use this anymore
ImgLikeOpera: lets you choose whether to load images on a page; makes things way faster on slow connections (like dial-up, which I often end up using)
Inline Translator (disabled): translates text in a little box when you select something
Microsoft .NET Exploitation... I mean Framework Assistant: this is an addon Microsoft secretly installs to Firefox without telling you that enables the "ClickOnce" functionality, which lets you click a link and automatically install a program... because there's no way that functionality could be exploited (it used to be uninstallable, but I guess Microsoft graciously enabled the uninstall button after all the complaining)
nURL Suffix: lets me turn off that stupid "shift + enter" functionality that messes me up when I'm typing something that ends in caps
SkipScreen: skips unnecessary pages automatically and goes straight to downloads on sites like RapidShare (and a bunch of others)
Tamper Data: lets you mess with HTTP headers and stuff
User Agent Switcher: lets you switch your user agent easily; useful on sites that display different information based on the browser (or that restrict content except to the Google crawler).

    Themes:
Vfox (disabled): extremely good looking Safari theme for Firefox; has the top-mounted tabs unlike the basic version (still doesn't get rid of the window bar on top, though)

Woah, somebody's got a clogged Firefox. I don't have many at the moment, as I've only just installed 3.5 on Linux.

    Currently Installed:

    • Adblock Plus - I used to be nice and allow ads on websites I knew, but I really can't be bothered, now.
    • FireGestures - I couldn't live without my gestures. It makes browsing so much more of a natural thing. :D
    • English (Australian) Dictionary - Yes, I need my favourite colours. :D
    • Glasser (Windows) - This lets certain themes use the Aero engine to make transparent areas. It just works :D.
    Usually installed:

    • VideoDownloader/DownloadHelper - I need something to get YT videos that I want to watch more than once. Yay for low Download limits.
    • Speed Dial - Lets me go where I want easily when I open a new tab with my custom up-stroke. :D
    Themes:

    • Strata Reloaded - Tango is ugly. I went with Strata for Ubuntu, to give it some shininess.
    • Aerofox - For my Win 7 install. It matches the theme better. :D Works well with Glasser.
I've bound to have forgotten some, but ah well. :D

Adblock Plus is the only FireFox Extension worth having, and even then the revenue you deprive websites of is eventually going to come back and bite the entire internet on the ass. Plus more and more sites are blocking you from accessing when using ABP.

I also use the Safari Extension, which you can get here.
Sometimes, just to mix it up, though, I'll use the Opera Extension which is available over here :3

I dunno, I like Tango. I like it so much, I used Tiize on most of my system files to replace their icons with Tango variants.

I don't click on advertisements even if they show up. Some ads these days are even linked to malware (not that anyone should still be using Adobe 8). ABP just makes it so I don't have to look at the ugly things, which is something I like.

Plus more and more sites are blocking you from accessing when using ABP.
I've never had this happen, ever. NoScript's site did something to this effect, but the backlash was so great that they eventually gave it up, I believe. I never visited it when it was supposedly happening, though, so I can't even confirm that firsthand.

For a while, the main Anandtech site was blocking access from users until they disabled ABP, actually.

I've considered the revenue loss, but I figure that I never actually click the ads, so it's just speeding up my pages, more than anything. To be honest, the sites that block you aren't going to get any revenue if they block you either, but I can see their reasons.

Safari Extension? Is that Adblock for Safari, because when I looked (granted, it was a while ago) there was no Adblock for Windows Safari.

^ Last I heart, the Safari equivalent for ABP was a Mac-only thing.

    My FF Extensions:
    - Adblock Plus (I really hate those flash ads...)
    - Download Statusbar (handy, sorta. I just like using it.)
    - FoxyTunes (Don't really use this at all now.)
    - GMail Notifier (Mail. Says it all.)
    - Google Gears (Supposedly meant to speed up my Wordpress. >.>)
    - IE Tab (Don't really use this either.)
    - Now Playing X (For WLM status.)
    - Xmarks (Really helpful for when I'm not on my laptop.)

    Theme:
    - Noia 2.0 eXtreme

    Currently installed add-ons:
TwitterFox - gotta keep up with all those updates!
Adblock Plus - it's gonna kill off some sites someday but live while you can, I guess.
Glasser - makes everything looks so much classier with the aero engine.
Speep Dial - I'm too lazy to type in the urls these days.

    Theme:
AeroFox - sleek, shiny, wonderful. Been usin' this guy for over a year now.

Adblock Plus, NoScript, Firebug, and FireGestures. Tab Mix Plus as well, when it upgrades to be compatible with 3.5 ^_^

    Mine:
    4Chan Extension
Adblock Plus - Second best Addon Ever.
AutoPager - I don't need to click "Next Page" Anymore
Download Statusbar - No More annoying "Downloads" window popping up
FEBE - Backs up my extensions in case my computer explodes
Firebug - Good at looking for webpage errors, I use it occasionally
Glasser - Makes firefox look nice, adds aero down to the url bar
Google Preview - Makes a preview of the webpages when searching google
Greasemonkey - Lots of useful little scripts for websites, such as a download video button for youtube.
Hyperwords - i couldn't browse without this: adds more functionality to the right-click menu
IdentFavIcon - changes those ugly "no icon" icons for webpages to random patterns
Noscript - 3rd best addon, block javacript from running, therefore blocking a lot of malware as well. also flash ads that ABP misses. gets a little annoying sometimes though
PageStyle2Tab- changes the style of the tab to match the background of the webpage
QuickRestart - Adds a restart button to firefox
SkipScreen - Skips annoying advertisement/useless screens on websites
SpeedDial - Displays my favorite sites as previews (links) in a new tab
Stylish - Restyles webpages to how i want them to look
Tineye Extension - adds a search function for images that searches by matching the picture you choose to their database
User Agent Switcher - Makes websites think you are using a different browser, while still rendering things well (unlike IE Tab)
Yet Another Remove It Permanently - Best addon ever. lets you "delete" html on a website you don't like, which is basically the best ad blocker ever. it can remove what ABP misses.

Also, Theme is Strata reloaded, as it goes well with glasser.

Safari's built-in blocker does a superb job, no need to install any programs or extensions since there are no pop up ads etc in Safari ;3

    Ad Block Plus
    ebay companion
    yahoo mail notifier
    flash block
    fox clocks
    image zoom
    opera view
    paypal plugin
    quick restart
    reload every
    WOT

The only add-ons I have are the All-in-One Sidebar (which is awesome), IE Tab (which is convenient for certain things), and Xmarks (which used to be Foxmarks, and is also a nice convenience).

My theme is the IE7 theme, which I got when I first switched over a couple years ago. I probably should change it, or at least see what else they've got these days.

Colorful Tabs: it just makes my browser look a bit more lively
Illumitix: It removes the video limitations for sites like megavideo and veoh
ReminderFox: I forget everything so this reminds me about things before they start
    AdBlock Plus: self explanatory

i don't have a lot but thats really all i need.
