First Badge Challenge

Alright, first update on Emerald!

-Chose Torchic, but forgot to name it :(
-Kicked Brendan's butt (and Mudkip!) and met him back at the Pokemon Lab
-Got my Pokeballs and went ahead and caught a Poochyena. Stole LilJz's came up with an original nickname and called her Maya.
-Spent awhile on Route 102 to catch a Ralts. Eventually caught one and named it Yami.
-Helped out Wally and proceeded to Route 104 where I caught a Marill and Taillow. Named them Pikablu and Skybird repectively.
-Got through Petalburg Woods with ease because of Skybird
-Headed off to Route 116 after reaching Rustboro to catch my sixth and final team member, Skitty. Caught a female one and named it Skit-Kit.
-Held off on facing Roxanne and decided to train some more.
 
And... Done!

Update on my Ruby run

I've moved up allll the way to Sootopolis City & gotten my team pretty strong :) still kinda underleveled, not to my liking.
I'm at the Cave of Origins where I gotta defeat Groudon, if I can't beat him, I'll probably level up some more, because I don't wanna capture him, I wanna defeat him. I'll end up using a Master Ball

Finished my Ruby run!

Beating the E4 required more a more tactical approach than just brute force with super effective attacks :P
I loved my team, it was a nice change :)
