  • I remember watching the anime even before it officially debuted (they aired the episode where the St. Anne sinks as a special preview episode of the series up here in Canada), and I was hooked right from the beginning. I got into the TCG pretty much as soon as it started up too, but didn't get into the games until late in the 2nd gen.

  • I believe my first experience with Pokémon was when I borrowed my sister's copy of Pokémon Red many years ago. I didn't own my own Pokémon game until I got Pokémon Ruby though. I've probably been into Pokémon for about 16 years now.

I was at choir practice with Mom at church and one of the other kids had Pokemon Red and we played it together. This was back when I was in 5th grade and everyone was into Pokemon and we traded cards during lunch like it was crack.

  • I started with the series and movies. I guess I was 10 years old. After that I collected TCG cards and my neighbour introduced me to the game Pokémon Yellow!

I don't know how exactly, but I've been into the series since I was about three and a half. My first game was probably a copy of Heartgold that I borrowed from my uncle.
