Focus Shift

((OOC: Only your Catalyst is with you after you teleport.)

Dialga appeared before the four teens on their way into Turnback Cave, he had been looking for these four for a while now; their location hidden from him until they had started down the path to the hidden lake here.

"Children," he spoke, his voice coming from his mind and entering their heads, "it is not time yet for you to enter into the cave behind me; your time is somewhere else." He arched his head to the sky, letting out a massive roar that could be heard all over Sinnoh and in the northern parts of Almia. He focussed his power, warping the four teenage Shifters to the time they belonged in. When he had finished he lowered his head; he had forced them to go with only their pokemon by their sides, the clothes on their back, and their ancient weapons. Their other belongings he teleported through time to the location where they would appear.

Dialga returned to the Hall of Origin, bowing before the almighty Arceus, "Lord, I have teleported the four back in time; there they shall find out their purposes."

"Rise, Lord of Time," Arcues replied, "Your work is done."

Palkia had been searching everywhere for the two teenagers that stood before her. Once they had found that phrase, she had pinpointed their location, flying over to meet them. She at first had been hesitant to appearing in Canalave City, as to upset the citizens, but knew if she lost them now, who knows where she could next find them.

"My children," she spoke calmly to them, voicing her thoughts straight into their heads, "this is not the place where you should be, not yet. Your place is somewhere else." She let out another great cry up into the sky, teleporting the two through space into another place, a place where they would find their destiny. All she gave them were their pokemon by their sides and the clothes on their backs. They would get what they need later.

She teleported their pother belongings to a Space where they would stay until they could recollect them and seeing her job done, she returned to the Hall of Origin, appearing beside her brother, "Lord Arceus, I have done as you asked of me," she said in her soft voice.

"Thank you, Empress of Space, your job is done," Arceus said, "let us watch our children find their destinies." A globe appeared between the three legendary beings, and as they gazed into it they could see the six children. "They have arrived," he said finally.

Michaela, Zamorak, Nakuzami and SkyisUmbreon, your characters appear in a medieval pokemon world, somewhere on the outskirts of a town. Get your bearings, blend in. If you wish to talk to the locals, they are medieval, so bring that into account, but they will be aggressive, the world is on the brink of being toppled by The Cloud.

Skymin, our characters have been teleported into a place where The Cloud has won, humanity is on the brink of extinction and the world is Dystopic. you and me need to find somewhere safe; a haven.

When the group landed on the ground from wherever they were, Miharu immediately started kicking the ground and cursed in multiple languages.

"I swear to Arcues, if I have to go back in time again I will storm the Hall of Origin!" exclaimed Miharu in Japanese, just so the others wouldn't be able to understand her. After finishing, she glanced around, noticing that the air, although had some weird scent in it, felt crisper and cleaner; not full of pollution. She glanced at her pokeballs, seeing only the one. She also noticed that all she had with her were her weapons and the clothes she had on right now. She glanced around. There was a forest behind them, and she could tell that there was a village nearby from the smoke. Miharu couldn't help but spot below them, several flowers that were turning black and rotten. She rose an eyebrow.

Obviously we were sent back in time, but when? Were the others also sent back in time? No, Dialga cannot be in two places at once...but where Dialga goes, Palkia usually follows and vice versa. Most likely, Anthony, Harley, and Kellyn were sent to another dimension that may be similar to this time's situation...perhaps this time's situation is similar, or perhaps worse, than our situation in our time now? That could mean that there is a cloud in this time as well...and from the looks of the flowers, it seems to be very bad...We might need to go into town to investigate and perhaps figure out what time it is, however our clothes are very inconspicuous...Perhaps we could first sneak in the village, steal some clothes, and then get in the legal way? That might work...

"First, either one or two of us should go to the village and steal some clothes, to make sure that we look how everyone else does. Then, we bring the clothes, change, and then go back in the village the legal way. What does everyone think?"

Josh gave Miharu a weird look as Miharu exclaimed several things in several languages. She finally suggested they steal some clothes, "Orrrrr" Josh said, drawing the word out, "we go into town dressed as we are." he suggested, "We aren't doing anything wrong, we might be dressed weird to them but I can't think of a time period when that was a punishable offence" he said calmly. It made perfect sense to him, if they were polite and respectful any oddity shown by their clothing could easily be overcome.

-Raike looked around at the desert area. Dead flowers, not too much green in sight. He then checked down on his belt. He growled, almost like a houndoom.-
"Where in the hell are my pokemon?! Jebus crunch Dialga, I swear..."
-He carried on ranting for a few more minutes before finally stopping, crossing his arms and closing his eyes to calm down, although he still grit his teeth. When he heard the proposal of ditching their cloths, he winced, grabbing his shirt defensively.-

"Gym leader says what? I can't ditch these cloths... I like them. Dang it, no choice, if I don't I will cause some kind of rip in time in space... dang it! I guess I'll go... but someone else is coming with me..."

((OOC: Sky...there's a FOREST behind them. You really don't read do you?))

Miharu blinked. "Perhaps, but for all we know, this is the middle ages and we will be burned at stake dressing like this. For now, the safest route is, I guess one can say, the more dangerous route. Perhaps everyone should vote?" Miharu rolled her eyes at Raike's complaining. "We do not necessarily have to 'ditch' the clothes, we can put them in a safe spot or wear the clothes we stole over our clothes right now."

In a time long ago...

-----

I looked around, and my eyes grew wide. The only items I had that were with me before the time traveling were Dusk, my clothes that I was wearing and my bow and katana. "Son of a..." I started, but did not finish. I looked around, we were in a strange place. We were obviously sent back a few hundred years, but things seemed bad. For one thing, the flowers were black.

Miharu started talking in many languages, before explaining our plan. Then Josh objected, "Orrrrr we go into town dressed as we are. We aren't doing anything wrong, we might be dressed weird to them but I can't think of a time period when that was a punishable offence"

"Not the best plan, Josh." I said, not bothering to explain why. "I agree with Miharu." I turned to her then, "Though, I refuse to ditch my clothes. Or at least not my hoodie. I'll find a way to carry it, but I absolutely refuse to leave it." I looked back at what remained of my things, "And what do you suppose happened to our things? Did they like, just stay where we were before we time travelled?" I asked.

I grabbed my bow and examined it. It didn't seem to have lost its modifications, or at least not all of them. It was smooth, jet black and had a modern feel. Though, it could still pass as a really expensive bow from this time, unless someone examined it really closely. What of my pokemon though? Dream and Cinder had just teleported to me seconds before we came here, and Monierba, Monagua and Monuego...who knows how they'd react.

(Ish, guess I don't XD my bad)

-Raike sighed in annoyance, his arms still crossed, he faced the forest.-

"Well I already cast my vote, I'm not trying to cause some space time rift and end life as we know it, but I'm still pissed about my pokemon."

-Raike huffed, and began scratching his head again-

"Now who's going with me."

"Go back and time and the first thing everyone wants to do is a crime" Josh thought, but he had been outvoted and he guessed that was it. "Fine then, i'll go with you Raike" Josh said, he wondered vaguely what time period they were in anyway and seeing a bit of the village might help him place that.

-Raike nodded, crossing his arms once more, closing his eyes, he began to speak in a more calm and mature tone.-

" Well then we'd best make up a plan on the way. As for Miharu and Kris, I'm gonna have to ask you guys to find some kind of food, in case we will have to camp out here. Please try not to get caught. Raven, can you come? I might need you
for some fast snatching."

-At the last comment he grinned, and began walking on the path towards the village, stopping a few feet away, waiting for Josh and Raven to catch up.-

Josh walked up to Raike, Odessa following behind him, he knew she wouldn't willingly go in her ball again and he didn't want to make her either. "Lets just get this done with" Josh said, slight contempt for the task at hand creeping into his voice.

Harley landed on the ground, Anthony beside her. When her feet hit the ground, she collapsed, not expecting to feel ground so soon. She cursed, her wounds aching and her bruises throbbing. She had been so close to Palkia! It had talked to her! Called Harley a child! It's voice in her head had seemed so feminine. A girl? She never really had imagined most legendary Pokémon having genders.

"Damn it! Damn it, damn it, damn it, damn it, GODDAMN IT!" She punched her right hand into the ground. "This sucks! Palkia was right there! Right there! The first time I ever get to see a legendary Pokémon and it teleports us to..." Harley stopped and looked around. This was nowhere where she had been before. "Okay, where are we?"

Wait... something was different. Harley felt around on her belt. Her eyes widened as she felt no other PokéBalls but Ceri's. She went to grab her bag, they may be in there! She felt around, but there was no bag either. Everything was gone! Her sketchbook, her pens, her Pokémon! She wouldn't be able to shift here unless she found a stick and drew in the dirt or something.

"This frigging sucks!"

Josh thought of a plan, "How about we just send Odessa and Raven in?" he suggested, "We may be dressed oddly but Pokemon don't wear clothing either way so that doesn't really matter".

Raike gave him a look, perhaps a bit of surprise for not thinking of it first, "That" he paused, "actually sounds like a good idea" he said. Raike and Josh both explained to Odessa and Raven respectively what to do, and after a quick nod from the both of them rushed off to find appropriate clothes.

A few minutes later both returned, both carrying clothes, Josh seemed surprised but Raike gave a slight smile, "I told Raven to get the clothes for us, not just to find some" he explained, "I guess Odessa followed suit" he said. Josh gave Raike a skeptical look but took the bundle of clothes from Odessa and headed back towards Miharu and Kris, Raike soon did the same.

Bunnies and rags...

-----

I looked up from my bow to see Raike and Josh heading our way. With them they had a bundle of clothes. I looked at the clothes, old and ugly. I would live though. I just needed to get a bag or something to carry my hoodie. As the two walked up to me and Miharu, I spoke up, "So, that was faster than expected. How'd you get the clothes?" I asked. I noticed Raven and Odessa give a little grin, so I assumed we had some pokemon thieves on our hands.

"Josh and Raike succeeded in their mission already?" Miharu asked, sounding like more of a statement.

(OOC: Aww...only one line of bunnying =/)

-Raike made a "tch"in his throat, crossing his arms, still keeping a hold of the cloths-

"Did you expect it to take longer? Don't underestimate Raven, OR Odessa. Well? is someone gonna help me with these? And did you manage to find any food?"

-He looked at Kris and his bow while saying this, seeming to direct the question to him. The gold rings on the sword on his back glowed, and Raike looked up to see that it was indeed getting dark.-

"You know, maybe we should find some shelter, who knows what comes out at night here?"

Josh smiled a little bit, "Didn't you and Miharu sleep in a tree... " he paused for a moment, would he say yesterday or in the future, he decided to just let the statement fall flat, "The only one of us who slept inside was Kris, so maybe we shouldn't bother finding shelter" Josh said, "Plus, we've been awake maybe a total of six hours if you count the time before Dialga sent us here" he reasoned, "So I don't think we would get much of a benefit from sleep, or at least trying to sleep" he finished.

((OOC: Zamorak, you guys were teleported by Dialga, not Palkia.))

Anthony closed his eyes the moment Palkia had teleported himself and Harley to another place, and opened them to find a world scorched and burnt. The earth was cracked beneath their feet and tinted orange, the sky a mass of red as the sun went down past the red horizon. Anthony had a feeling that the sky wasn't just red because of the sun. There was little vegetation around, the only vegetation being burnt tree stumps, and even these were few.

He marveled at their surroundings; there was no place on earth like this, so maybe, they were on a different planet? 'No, don't be silly' he thought to himself, 'another dimension perhaps?'

Then he heard Harley cursing, she had come close to Palkia, she seemed disappointed. She asked him where the hell they were, "I have no clue," he replied vaguely, "I'm guessing since Palkia is Deity of Space, that we are in another 'version' of earth, someplace where something has literally destroyed it." He looked around again, a mass of cracked earth and craggy hills.

He watched Harley feel around for her bag, then did he noticed that it was gone, so were her pokeballs. Anthony felt too, but knew that the same had happened to him. Pitch stood by his side, whining a bit, something about this world scared her. Then Anthony was hit by another thought, "Harley, where is Kellyn?" he asked, not seeing the new shifter in sight.

Let darkness come...

-----

"Did you expect it to take longer? Don't underestimate Raven, OR Odessa. Well? is someone gonna help me with these? And did you manage to find any food?" Raven's rings began to glow just a little, signaling it was getting dark out, "You know, maybe we should find some shelter, who knows what comes out at night here?"

"The only one of us who slept inside was Kris, so maybe we shouldn't bother finding shelter..." Josh started, "Plus, we've been awake maybe a total of six hours if you count the time before Dialga sent us here. So I don't think we would get much of a benefit from sleep, or at least trying to sleep"

"No, I did not manage to find any food..." I replied, "And, Josh is right. We probably wouldn't even be able to get to sleep." I said, "But we should still make camp for the night. It's not a good idea to be wandering around here at night..."

"Another version of Earth? We're on a different planet?! That's physically impossible! How can any other planet support human AND Pokémon needs!" Harley sighed heavily and looked around; this place was a ruin. Harley had never seen anything like it, not even in books. The sky was red as it set, it made everything look like it was on fire. It was quite fitting since everything was burnt down and destroyed.

"Harley, where is Kellyn?" Anthony asked her. Harley blew a strand of hair out of her face and shook her head hastily. It was hot, she was nowhere near Sinnoh and she just wanted to go home.

"I dunno, I don't see him. Palkia probably left him behind at the motel or whatever. Whatever!" Harley fell back onto the ground. She was frustrated and this crappy excuse for grass was not helping. "Honestly I don't really care at the moment. Why don't we work on finding a way home."

"No Harley, we aren't on a different planet like Earth, we are probably on a Parallel Version of Earth, one where something has destroyed the whole planet." he said as he sat down on the ground beside her."It's like, we are in an alternate Earth," Anthony tried his best to explain the situation, but even he found himself stuck at an explanation. "Wherever we are, its a hell hole." he said as he etched marks into the ground.

"I know how you feel Harley, I would like to find a way home to, but Palkia must have sent us here for a reason," he started, "there must be something here in this Alternate Earth that we need to know to stop this," he waved his hands around at the dystopic world, "from happening." He felt the wind blow through his hair, it was a hot wind, as if the sky had burned.

Kellyn had decided to stay at the motel and rest. He'd need it, he thought, especially if they were going to be studying all day. The first thing he did was go to a nearby PC and dropping off everyone but Bliss. He knew that they couldn't come to the Aether realm. He stepped into there room and put his bag down. "Home, sweet, Home," he said to himself. He quickly fell into a deep sleep.

Suddenly the ground shook, waking him up. He grabbed his bag and let Bliss out of her pokeball. Together they ran outside, mesmerized as they stepped out of the motel. In front of them stood the mighty Palkia, the Deity of Space.

"You aren't supposed to be here right now, my child," Palkia said in his mind, with a feminine voice. "You will, but not now."

Another earthquake happened as Palkia raised her arms and everything went black. Kellyn felt a tug at him as he was lifted up with Bliss at his side. They suddenly felt a rush of cold water, although there was none, and they went spiraling into infinity.

Kellyn rolled over as he started to wake up. She must have sent me somewhere, he thought, but what happened to Harley and Anthony. He picked himself up to find Bliss next to him. He couldn't find his bag and the only thing he had was the clothes on his back. He started to walk around, noticing that everything was a goldish tint and very little vegetation. The sun, or what he expected to be the sun, was a bright red.

He continued to walk, hoping the others were okay. The earth was cracking under his feet. He suddenly heard voices and continued toward them. He walked until he saw them, Harley and Anthony. So we're all here, he thought. "Guys," he said, staggering closer to them, "Where are we?"
