Fortune Cookies!

Whenever you open one, what fortune do you get?

Mine is: "Love comes when your talent blooms." ... odd XD

Recenty, after Japanese class, my mom gave me a fortune cookie since she'd bought a bag of them from a Chinese grocery store. It said something like "you are very culturalistic"... which was scary since it's true, in a way. @_@;;

I used to hate fortune cookies for some reason. ._.;

My family used to go to an Old China Buffet and we would always get fortune cookies. The fortune cookies would usually say something that was kinda true too. We don't go there as much anymore though because the workers there like to eat the left over food from people's plates. o_O

O.O ...fortune cookies are odd... sometimes they don't make sense to me... like... "The only Rose with a thorn is friendship"

That... makes sense in a way. But not really. @_@; I wouldn't like to get cookies that actually make you think. Simple metaphors are fine, but something like that... ugh. XD;;

It'd be interesting to meet the types of people who write the fortunes. o_O;

I usually get ones that are true, it's scary. ^_^; If only I could remember the one that I got the last time we ate at a Chinese Buffet... I remember my mom's though: "Strike iron while it is hot".

Every fortune I get talks about something that will happen in the future, usually with meeting someone or getting some kind of job, ect.

I guess they just don't think of the younger age group. I have seen kids only fortune cookies at the grocery store before.

its freakish when u get da same fortune as one of da people ur eating with. then it states "you have a very good friend" or somethin like that.

anyways, its fun to use toothpicks to poke out the fortunes n leave an emtpy cookie. whahahha. xD

Hmm, I ate Chinese food last night and I ate a fortune cookie this morning, lol. The one from dinner said something like: "You are well-liked (it may have been "admired") for your charm and personality." This morning another one had: "Good things are being said about you." It creeps me out half the time because most of them speak the truth about me...O_o;

You know...I've never had a fortune cookie. o_o; Nor have I ever eaten Chinese food. ._.; The ones with metaphors could be for everyone DT, but the ones that promise, ironically, good fortune are usually for the gullible. ^_^;
