    So, we all know tomorrow is Friday 13th! Which is supposed to be an unlucky day.

    Are you superstitious?

    I am not. I don't believe that breaking a mirror equals to 7 Years of bad luck, or any of the other things. However; that also means I don't believe in Good Luck.

    If so, what are your superstitions?

    If not, why not?

    I just, choose not to be, I've done lot's of things that are considered "unlucky." and have had nothing good coming my way. except for breaking a mirror, i had a good slap coming my way. :x
     
    I am not really superstitious at all. I do have a open mind towards the unexplainable, but I've not seen myself as a superstitious person since I was a very young child. (and there's no way I can be superstitious now since I own a very lovable black cat and this post suddenly makes me think I could have a lot of fun with him tomorrow)

    My final exam is tomorrow. My week so far has been pretty crap so I'm guessing the trend will continue to tomorrow. I'm not really all that superstitious in general but I do have a bad feeling about tomorrow V___V

    I came here to post pretty much this. Tomorrow I have two finals and then almost immediately a 15-hour train ride overnight. I just realized by reading this thread that my worst day of the past couple weeks happens to fall on Friday the 13th. xD

    Generic answer itt: nope. It's just a day like any other. I don't know what originated the idea that it's a special day or something but I am certain it was just luck.
     
    I can be a tad bit superstitious at times, but when it comes to Friday the 13th, I don't believe in that crap. I feel that it's just a regular normal day like any other.

    If I believe that a superstition is stupid then I don't believe in it.
    Friday the 13th is one of the days I just don't mess with. I won't let the fact that it is Friday the 13th hinder me, but I am more careful than normal. Other superstitions are typically considered too stupid to follow with much seriousness. Something MUST HAPPEN to prove a superstition to me before I take it seriously, and even then it's not a priority consideration.
    If not, why not?
    ...Because you can't fix stupid once it's embedded into your habits. So I minimize such things from happening.
    Most superstitions are really silly.

    In what ways?: I believe that 13 is unlucky and do my best I can to avoid anything related to that number (or the numbers divisible by it).
     
    Overall I'm not superstitious. Just seems like a bunch of nonsense to me. If today's gonna suck, it'll be because of the circumstances of the day and not just because it's Friday the 13th.

    And yet, I still knock on wood... you think I wouldn't because it doesn't do anything, but yet I still do. And I picked this up when I was eighteen, so I can't even use the excuse of doing it since I was little and didn't know better. >_<

    I'm not superstitious. It's fairly obvious that a lot of bad stuff happens on Friday the 13th because people believe bad things are going to happen. People get what they expect.

    I own a black cat, it crosses my path all the time, my luck is fine lol
     
    I am not superstitious. I cannot recall one traumatic event that ever happened to me on Friday when it was the 13th of the month. And little things that go wrong? Those happen on any day.

    I've never bought into the hype concerning this day, and unless someone presents concrete proof, backed by research, of this day being more prone to accidents than any other, then I will continue to regard it as just another day.

    If so, what are your superstitions? I'm superstitious about ghosts and anything I think that's real to me. It can be from ghosts and spirits to angels and demons.

    My Friday the 13th was terrible. It's always terrible for me.

    If you want to know if the 13th of a month falls on Friday, it's a month that begins on a Sunday!
     
    I don't think I'm superstitious at all. I don't have any rituals I perform to fend off bad luck and, honestly, I don't really believe in luck at all. Sometimes I have good days, sometimes I have bad days. I've never placed a lot of faith in beliefs and whatnot so superstition is no different from religion for me. I don't follow any of it. :B

    In fact, my Thursday the Twelfth was a hell of a lot worse than my Friday the Thirteenth so... there's really no reason for me to start with the superstitions. xD
