until you go to the Burnaby area where every street looks somewhat dirty, especially the random parking lots. Those look like slums O.o;

Vancouver Island IS fun! There aren't much in the world that beats free seafood at the flick of a hammer and nail. But then, I keep embarassing myself because I have difficulty in saying "oysters" instead of "cloysters" >>;

Frosty: "Oh look at all those Cloysters!"

Everyone else: "What? What?"

Frosty: "Err... Oysters!"
 
That'd be funny if someone was still that enthused about Pokemon. XD
 
this may sound a little strange, but here goes....
as some of you may know, i found PC in a very unusual way. My cousin lent me his old laptop when he went to summer camp. i was looking through his cookies, and found PC. he had been a member here a while ago, so i decided to see why he joined. thats how i joined. but in a folder he had saved off the old pages somehow (so i could see what it looked liked when he posted), and i looked at them. His name was Mew9, then Blitz, then CMatz (which he chose to spite me - its my basketball nickname). but anyways he had listed as one of his best friends Fostweaver. he was also on some NetBattle team with him, and a whole bunch of stuff. this was back when you modded FR/LG and Movesets and stuff. so i was looking through the archives and really liked you as a mod - you were always involved in every thread, and did more than any other mod i have seen. so basically i want to join your fanclub and appreciated your days as a mod (even though i was not there to witness them). *whew*
 
Frosty I always wanted to see you become an admin but I know you hated modding ;_;

I say Primeape instead of primate, Aerodactyl instead of Pterodactyl, Cloyster instead of Oyster, and have to remember that there's an h in "ghastly" <_<;

I always thought frosty and I should have switched positions, or he could've at least become a mod.

That was back when Mana Lugia is trying to hold that online battle tournament between SPP, PC and PE2K. I think that PC did pretty well ^^; We either got 1st or 2nd... I was stuck with battling RS202 Division...

Lol it was kinda fun back then. We had intensive training camps where PC ppl had to battle me with their team against my "standardized mega-OU team." I think toothache (former mod of Strategy, after me) realized just exactly how to destroy Weezing because of that team practice XD

Modding sucks =x If you're not a mod, stay that way. If you're a mod... find a way to unmod yourself by tricking little kids to succeed after you.

It's a shame there isn't such position as "honorary admin" where you get all the glory and none of the responsibility, you would definitely qualify, frosty. I wish you could have stayed a mod if only to be an intelligent, calm, and moral voice in the mod forum.

I don't mind being a mod but I feel sort of bad regarding how I became one...I basically made a post saying "Dakota is a horrible praetor" and suddenly I was OVP mod o_O
 
Okay, did Dakota do something wrong?
 
Some people thought he did, some people didn't...he was posting a lot of spam topics in OVP to mock people who replied to polls that didn't live up to his personal standard of seriousness...I told him it was improper and things got rather nasty, and that's how it happened <_<;
 
I don't know what happened to him either. But before I left the lounge and isolated myself to fanfic, he was at the pit in terms of "PC Popularity" already. At that time he didn't do anything "wrong" though.

PC Mod Lounge is quite a mess and it's far from easy >_>; Hopefully they've cleaned up that place inside.
 
I remember those four polls, and no one seemed to understand or enjoy his jokes except me. :\ He posts at PE2K now too due to some convincing from Dratini. XD
 
Dratini is still alive on the internet world? XD;

Oh well, it suits him better to be with PC members of his timeline rather than us, who's too many generations behind him. He's here before PC is in vbulletin, and we joined like half a year after PC got vbulletin... look at that PC-generation gap =p
 
I understood the humor too, I was just angry and felt that he had taken things too far for some reason. I apologized in a PM to him afterward but he didn't accept it o_O
 
He was even more mean to PE2K members, but we still had loads of fun joking around on that forum. =P

Dratini returned to PE2K just a few days before me, btw. XD
 
I see... I thought that Dratini is just gone from the internet.

Well PC has an image of being "kiddy" but then I like it for that. Somehow, today's world say that you're childish if you're protectively intolerant XD

Articuno is also the newest hazer! But then too bad everything that needs to be hazed got rock slide, so that's pointless. Nevertheless, Heal Bell rocks ^^

Moltres got a huge buff too with will o wisp available. Zapdos and metal sound can finally put an end to Blissey's reign. We may actually have a reason to use Zapdos over Raikou now.

Extrasensory on all three legendary birds finally expand their super-poor movepools.

Guess Gale of Darkness is good for *something.*

Gale of Darkness is the subtitle of Pokemon XD (the letters, not the ecks dee emoticon =p), the next pokemon game for the gamecube.

Frosty and I have already agreed that despite some interesting features it's not going to be worth buying <_<;
 
Honestly though, getting Gale of Darkness just for the sake of 4 Pokemon's expanded movepool (3 legendary birds, Ampharos) isn't worth it... Though many other Pokemon got new moves, so far only these 4 Pokemon will actually mark a difference. Mr.Mime and Follow Me is probably the closest 5th that matters.

sigh... can't they make something productive and not some money raking scheme that barely contributes to the overall Pokemon game?
