Funny stuff made by random players while tera raiding.

Today, while tera raiding, I happened to assist to a certain weird "strategy or whatever you're going to call it" made by two random players and this particular occurrence totally inspired me to create this thread. A thread where you can share your own experiences about funny stuff made by random players during the tera raid battles you host or join in.

As for mine, today I happen to join a 6 stars Sylveon holding a normal type tera jewel and, with very much of a surprise, I notice that inside the party there are two players who're going to fight with Hydreigon as their Pokémon. I try to trust them and say to myself: "these two might surely have some kind of strategy to make such a brave choice". The result? The whole party got annihilated in like ten seconds or less.

So... Have you participated a tera raid battle that put a smile on your face?

I've been in similar situations to this. The situation you described sounds like either trolling, or perhaps the dumbest players ever. I'm assuming they probably weren't trolling because they don't have anything to gain from it, but if they were dumb, then they probably didn't understand that even though it has a Normal Tera Type, it still gets STAB from its Fairy moves. Hydregion is only going to get completely wrecked by any Fairy-type move because both Dragon and Dark are weak to Fairy.

I wish I could remember all the 'interesting' battle choices I've seen rando's make, a few highlights would be:

Using 'your special shiny pokemon😁' even though it makes no tactical sense whatsoever.

Racing the dedicated damage dealer with your own (even going so far as to proc the next phase of the fight early causing said DDD to lose all that time it spent
swords dancing) even if the pokemon you're using DOESN'T HAVE A PROPER STAB MOVE AGAINST THE TERAMON!!! (This has happpened to me a lot, can you tell?)

The few really good Tera Raids where everyone on the team knew exactly what their roll was and what to do. (I finished those battles in four turns or less)

That one time three of the four people (me included) used Kingambit to hit-squad some poor five star Ice Type pokemon (it didn't have a chance in hell lol.

I was doing the Greninja raid with my Gastrodon, assisted by 3 Clodsire. It was all coordinated on Reddit, there was even a battle plan that would be copy-pasted into the live chat every 20 minute or so. I myself had pasted it in the post just before the link code for this one…yet 2/3 of the Clodsire forgot my Storm Drain ability had been negated by Greninja, hit me with Chilling Water leaving the Greninja un-modified to finish me off with Gunk Shot.
I've also spotted people who must be similar to me in not finishing the game yet wanting to raid, so I'll go into a Random 1-star raid with my Mightiest Greninja and line up alongside 2 other level 100s and the bewildered host who has a Lechonk or something…probably didn't even get to click anything before the Tera 'mon got wasted.

I've been bringing lightning rod ash cap Pikachu to water type ditto raids :)
