    On December, there will be a Game of the Year, instead of a Game of the Month.​

    NOTE: The winner for the Game of the Month could again win the Game of the Year, this is because this is a different kind of competition.

    Like in many places you have seen rules in voting:
    • Cannot vote for your own game.
    • Game must be active, in beta stage, or complete.
    • Do not vote more than once.
    • Provide a reason for your choice.
    • Try to be fair and go through the games before deciding.
    • Try not to vote for someone just because they are your friends.

    What a game must have to be included:
    • The game must have a reasonable story.
    • Could only win once per year.

    The competition would last throughout the month until five days before the month ends. That's when the votes will be counted and a winner will be chosen. If it's a tie, both winners will get the winner's banner/userbar.

    All games are welcome to be voted for, it could be posted anywhere, even in the Plot and Story Area. LINK

    What you should look for in a game:
    • Does the game have a good story?
    • Is the creator working on it and updates work constantly?
    • Is there proof of scripting, mapping, or any other form of work?
    • Does the game make sense?
    • What features will be included or is unique?

    If anyone does not want to have their games in the competition, please say so by PM or by a Visitor Message. Please do not post anything other than voting material.

    Because the mapping looks great, and there aren't many tropical games out there!

    I think that Avatar will approve it when he see it, its well organisated and we really need something like that... Also i have a suggestion why dont you add more categories like Revelation, game of the year (actually 2008 will be only 2 months) and of the month?

    My vote is for Pokemon Protectors.
     
    If I had to, I'd vote for Amethyst, but like Wichu said, we'd have to see about it being approved by Avatar if it isn't already.

    Though I think a Game of the Year would be cool for the GD Section xP
     
    I vote for Pokemon Ryen! it's such a great game, good sprites, and good maps.

    I think the game has potential.

    I personally think pokemon raptor is even better than what nintendo could have done. I vote for Raptor!!!!
     
    Pokemon: The Lost World gets my vote.

    Have you seen that Viridian City? That guy is my idol. He made me take a second look at my maps just to realize how horrible they look. Well.. time for me to get mapping.
     
    I vote for Raptor it has great content, awesome battle screens, great features, and an interesting storyline.
     
    I vote for Pokemon the Lost world because its the kind of game that I always wanted Nintendo/Game freak to do.

    I vote for kyledove's MMORPG, I have always wanted there to be a really good Pokemon MMORPG and kyledove has done just that. The graphics are just stunning and the features are really cool too, the whole game is just.......umm........ well there are so many words to describe the game but I'll just choose one word, breathtaking.
     
    I vote for Pokemon Raptor, it has very good mapping, cool features, and overall looks like a game that could work out very well.

    I vote for Pokemon NeoEras too x3 I think Krimm's game is fantastic!

    Edit: woops, forgot a reason xD It is an awesome game with lots of creativity put into it. Everyday I get to see how much work and thought Krimm puts into making it a great game!
