Masuda is also apparently stepping down as director anyway, so even if you felt strongly enough to protest his game design decisions, it's not like he's going to be directing the 8th gen games.
 
i take it the rest of his body is ok and not in need of protesting, yes?
 
I'd also mention that the Switch is part handheld since it's built to be portable or mobile unlike other consoles. If the graphics are like a Gameboy game, maybe that's why? If you don't like it, don't buy it. Simple really.
