Ok so this thread isn't actually a debate it's just to announce to everyone that it's actually called garlic BREAD not garlic toast as some of you may think. Even though yes garlic toast makes more sense... it's garlic BREAD ok thats it end of discussion. Discussion re-opened. What's your take on the irrelevant issue at hand?

I'm a returning member so I'm sorry if this doesn't go here :( I couldn't find the polls section that used to be around *derp*

OMG who calls it Garlic Toast? I want to fight them

I KNOW RIGHT. I hear it every now and then and it makes me cringe. This actually needs to be addressed like honestly how are we suppose to figure out major problems like world hunger and homelessness and crime rates and genocide when we can't even decide what to call garlic bread!? And there isn't even a decision to make! It's called garlic BREAD and thats it love it or leave it thank you

I thought it was only garlic toast if it came in a fast food chicken basket

Ive never heard anyone call it garlic toast lol, for me if its cooked properly then it should still be soft in the middle like bread.

Also could totally go some right now.

I've never heard of anyone calling it garlic toast. I never was a fan of garlic bread though, every time I have had it it was more like toast than soft bread. So now I never eat it or order it.

I'll be the one to ask here: what's the difference between the two? At least in my household, they're interchangeable because either way, it gets heated up in the oven and is never served cold.

I just..........never knew this was such an issue. I like garlic, I like bread, I like toast, so I'd eat it no matter what it's called tbh.

it's garlic bread if its in a loaf and it's garlic toast or texas toast if it's a sliced piece

i feel like saying garlic toast is the same as saying pinky finger, we know it's toasted but calling it toast is excessive.

Maybe it's like a regional thing or whatever... ?

Well I'm glad we can all agree garlic toast isn't actually even a thing I guess I can sleep easier now :)
