Gender Problem

When I go to "Edit Your Details" on my User CP, it says "Gender", then "What is your gender?"
You can either pick from "Female" or "Male".
How come there are no options called "Both" and "Genderless"?

In case I misread your post and you really are asking a question, it's because this is a kid's Pokèmon forum, not some eighteen plus forum where people go to... Oh, you know what I mean.

Gender has nothing to do with "eighteen plus", your thinking of orientation, I'm being serious here not trolling.

EDIT: OK, for genderless that seems fine, but what if someone falling under "both" did not have a preference and wanted to be known as "both"?

Why publicly display your preference of having no preference?

I can understand wanting a "both" choice, but it may confuse some of the younger and ignorant members of this forum.

Depends on someone's personal opinion, and no initiative would take place unless there was more than one person asking for it to happen.

Its a game of Majority my friend, and the majority is either one or the other. I know its unfair, but that's simply the way it is.

My advice, don't pick either one, it'll save you some headaches from people PM'ing you asking about it.

I personally think that there should be a "Both" option. Not that I am "Both", but for people who are, and for people that just feel like doing it. Part of it can be just for fun, and sometimes (not realistically), someone can be both. Also, sometimes, people like to impersonate characters from Animes and such, and there can be characters that are... well, Both.

This is a very unusual argument. :x

I like to consider myself both genders (not sexes), so the "Unspecified" option works fine for me. Another option is not needed.

I really don't see why its needed when there is an unspecified option. But you could however make a nice signature about it. ^_^ I could help you! But the both option would be pretty much useless since very few people are both or want to be considered both. Sorry ^_~'.

In short, I belive that a "Both" option is very pointless and would cause unneccessary confusion. This thread has nothing to do with transsexualism and this IS a kids forum. We dont need to encourage this kind of behavior In my opinion. If you chose to project yourself as Dual Gendered that is your choice and you may do so with the way you post and in your signature and profile. However we should not just add a "both" option because it's 'funny' :<

"Unspecified" would be looked at as both, or no gender. There's no need for more options as they would be pointless (maybe sometimes fun to have, but still pointless). I mean if you can't pick male or female then what does that leave you?

I think if such an option existed, people would just select it as a joke.
I'm already confused who's male or female because some members like to toggle between the two.. having a "third" option would make things even more confusing..

I'd fall into the mutant category- My mom's mom's sister's husband's father's twin's great-great-greatgrandfathers' wife was actually 12.34% mutant. Nah, I'm kidding- It's just a science experiment that went wrong that made me 20% mutant- not the thing above.
