Genders that are weird to you

The Gothita evolutionary line being 25% male, I mean if you look at Gothorita and Gothitelle their appearance shows that their bodies look like a dress. And their antennas that look like "hair" also look very girly. At least the females are more common though, I'd never use a male on my team for that reason.

Also, the Roselia line being 50% male despite the very feminine appearance. Then there's also the Timburr line who look very male indeed (Conkeldurr even has a goatee!) and they have a 25% chance of being female.

Oh god.

I also can't imagine Sawk and Throh being female. Like, they're just so obviously male-oriented in the anatomy department that the images I get when I imagine them being female are far too disturbing to let to light. ):

Female Mr.Mime, cause it's weird when it a female and it's name has "Mr." in it. That makes no sense that they don't have a Mrs. or Ms. Mime. Female Machop/Machoke/Machamp are odd too cause while there are really macho women, they're not usually flat/masculine-chested. Male Gardevoir, male Gothita/Gothorita/Gothitelle, and male Lopunny as well.

Male Audino too. They're very similar to Chansey in a way since they're Nurse Joy's assistants in Unova , they have high defenses , give off a high amount of EXPs and they have healing abilities so it makes since to me for them to be all female since Chansey's line is like that. Place they're big cute , pink creatures. Though oddly, they're 50/50.

Yes seeing a poke looking same as each other and then knowing one is actually male and the other one is a female seems surprising to me. so I dislike female genders. (Not because I am male) {XD}

okay my feminist sense is tingling so hard its screaming :(

I don't see anything wrong with Machop or the line being female. Females can be strong too, and in any case it's the thing of that species to be strong and macho. Not because they are male. But because they are Machop. Just like it's Gothitelle's thing to have big lips and a dress. Regardless of gender.

But at the same time, it really annoys med that pink or cute pokémon can have a lesser frequency of being male, while more masculine pokémon can have 100% of being female. If females can be macho, why can't males be pink or have skirts?

As for pokémon names, they are just names of the species. Seaking is what the species is referred to because they look like they could be the kings of the sea. Same with Goldeen and queen of the sea. And Mr Mime because (if we think game lore) some people who discovered the species thought it would be a good or funny name for the pokémon. Not because it was meant to be all male. Is what I think.

No one seriously mentioned the fact that Legendaries don't have genders?(with the exception of Heatran and Manphy) THe only one I find it acceptable is Mewtwo, who is a clone and is probably sterile for the sake of the Pokemon World.

Also on the Mr. Mime aspect of the conversation....it's Japanese name is Barrier.

Let's also remember that there is a species of snake known as King Cobras...in which 50% of it's population would be female according to the laws of probability.

But now all I'm thinking is how bad 'Seaqueen' would sound and look in the game/anime, ahaha. But yeah, I do agree that it's just a generalized name, not something meant to be used as a definitive label.
