    The "Save and Close" button at the bottom not only doesn't save or close anything (as far as I can tell), but it also clears my birthdate (and possibly other settings I don't have set).
     
    It saves my region, but I can confirm that it clears the birthdate field.

    Well, I don't want to select a region, I just want to hide it like the other closable notices. Maybe that could be added in too.

    You can still get rid of it right now by picking a random region, no one's forcing you to join any Get-Together events. Unless you'd rather wait for an admin to fix this.

    I didn't want to pick a region for that, but it looks like someone already did lol, so that's there. And no, it's gone.
     
    I also notice when i chose my region, it cleared my friend code, PSN and Steam ID data. Had to re-add them.
     
    I'd also like to mention that when I tried to just "Save and Close" as opposed to choosing a team, it did not work. In the end I was forced to choose a team to clear it (despite not wishing to). Functionality seems to vary across styles also, some styles don't cache your choice so I had to pick my team on a different style to make it disappear. Assuming because templates were edited to create this (hence inconsistency), though that's just hazarding a guess.

    I'll add a close button Looks like there's already a close button. No idea right now why it'd be clearing your information out though, hopefully Jake can manage to take a look at it.
