6th Gen Ghost Girl Theories

Gamefreak always does strange things for seemingly no reason in every generation. In ORAS, we have a random ghost girl who appears in Phoebe of the Elite Four's room when you challenge her. I didn't even notice her the first time I played through, but I noticed it the second time. Here's a gif of the first time the girl is visible, sitting on the chair:

Strange enough, after the cutscene above, the game seems to actually shift to the ghost girl's point of view, as if she stands up and walks towards the player and Phoebe. This is where I noticed her. She's right beside the player at this angle; look at the player's neck:

Who do you think she is and why is she there?

This just blew my mind. Quite exciting but still very creepy. It actually looks more like a boy to me tho.

I think it's just there to try to creep some kids out. Or to start controversy. Especially since Phoebe is a ghost type trainer. It's just for lulz imo.

Have you not seen this before? I've seen it on the Internet, but I only really just noticed the girl in the game myself the second time I beat the Elite Four :p

I think it must be related to the other ghost girl, but I wonder why Game Freak keeps putting random creepy girls in these games. I want to know how THEY are connecting all of them.

This is the first time I'm seeing this and really amazed by it.
I'm sure that there's a story behind it. I just don't know how
to uncover it. But looks like we need the help of a detective.

I don't get why there's a ghost girl sitting in the chair behind Phoebe there. I speculate it may be for the laughs since I really don't know why it randomly appears there with no purpose.

Something tells me that it has something to do with Phoebe's backstory. Maybe it's just her dead younger brother who felt like chillin or something.

They've been putting ghost based girls in the games from the start, I think it's a running gag now.
