Dia listened with half an ear until the conversation turned to returning to their own time. Dia freaked out.
"No... No I won't go back there! You can't make me! I'll never go back there! He'll find me and... And... I won't!" Dia shouted as she struggled to get free from Archur's grasp. When simply squirming didn't work, she blasted him with Faint Attack and he dropped her. She shot a Confuse Ray at each of the Sableye and Archur and ran as fast as she could. She was not going back, no matter what. She ran as hard and as far as she could go. She was not going back there! Kevin would find her and then... She didn't want to think about it. So she simply ran, and Dia faded into her own mind as she ran, her terror speeding her steps.

Archur quickly shook off the confuse ray. Dia was a large speck in the distance; he started running after her, his longer strides and the recently eaten sitrus berry helping to make him catch up quickly. He ran along side her for a moment, "When I promised to protect you, I didn't just mean here, in this time!" he shouted to her, "If you are that scared of this human, then I will do anything in my power to make sure that he doesn't get you. I'll kill him if I must," he was breathing heavily, but using one last boost of speed, he passed Dia and slid to a stop in front of Dia, stopping her. "Or, if need be, I'll stay here with you. But I'm at least going to go with the others, they'll need an extra body to help them get to wherever," he caught his breath. "Just, please, stop running off like that. It's hard for me to keep up with you," Archur took a deep breath and picked up Dia, hugging her. "I don't want to lose you like I did Rachel."

"one way in on way out?" Caro questioned "the next battle may never take place for another one hundred years may even until our time" Caro yelled in panic. As Caro saw Dia freak out and Attack Archur, He knew he was next and quickly protected before he was hit with with a confuse ray. Ack Cant see! Caro yelled even though he could perfectly well see. It seemed to fool Dia as she ran off towards some unknown direction. Got to follow her. Caro said to himself "Ok guys I'll be back, I'm going to find Dia," Caro told Archur and Snype. And shadow sneak off again since he still couldn't walk on his own two legs. Caro was searched for quite a while. Until he finally found were Dia and continued to follow her. But Archur had already found her and was comforting her. "I don't want to lose you like I did Rachel."Archur said "who's Rachel? A trainer Maybe a family member?"Caro thought aloud

Dia wasn't interested. She twisted and hissed.
"No! No one can protect me from him! I... I won't!" she shouted. She used Double Team and seperated into half a dozen clones, which all ran off in seperate directions. She was in a blind panic and ran back toward hte city, the one place that was still in her mind. She dove into the sewers and ran towards that safe place she had found before, making sure to pass through very smelly areas to mask her scent, just incase she was being tracked that way. Very soon, she was back. She crawled in the hole. Her little area had been left untouched, and she curled up in the corner and began crying. There was no way she was ever going to trust any of them again. They didn't want to hurt her, not here. No, they wanted to drag her back to Kevin. That was a fate worse than death.

Dia used double team to escape again. "Oh, That's just great!" Caro yelled "well theres only one way to figure out witch one is the real one." Caro said and punched on of the Dia witch disappeared right before the punch hit. Then Caro punched another Which also disappeared. Then Caro turned around an used metronome. Nothing happened a first but then the ground started to shake lightly at first but then it started to get more violent. All the Dia had disappeared at this point and Caro was left not knowing what to do. A loud crackling sound came from under the ground and then the ground underneath them collapsed and Caro was submerged in water. Swimming with only his hands and arms he finally reached the banks of the water. The sewers? I didn't know that we were still under the sewers. Caro thought. Although the sewers was mostly torn apart from the attack Caro had used. Gotta find Dia. Caro thought returning to what he was doing. Hopped up and went to Archur to see if he had any luck finding Dia.

Archur fell to his knees. Dia had actually abandoned the red swampert, not the other way around, which is what Dia seemed to be worried about. Technically, he hadn'tbroken his promise, but the fact that Dia had broken it for him, that made him feel worse. He had no idea where she had gone. His sense of smell wasn't the best and he couldn't tell which umbreon was the real Dia. He felt like vomiting, it was just like all that time ago when Rachel had been caught. He hadn't promised to protect Rachel with his life though. This got him to thinking about why he had promised that to Dia, who he barely knew, but not to his love. This made Archur feel worse about Dia leaving, someone who he offered something to that he hadn't offered to Rachel. This made him angry, he started smashing things, anything in his path, rocks, trees, even another pokemon. His eyes were filled with rage. He was angry at himself, not only for having not been a good enough friend to Dia that she ran away, but for promising her something that he had never been able to promise Rachel. This made him mad at Dia, for ruining that promise. After a moment, he realized that he just didn't care. He would no longer up hold that promise. He left to go back to the others.

Dia freaked out again and Snype was blasted by a confuse ray which really messed up his mind a little. He fell onto his back, holding his head as if he had a serious Migraine. "Gaahhh... she sure can hit hard..." Snype said getting up and trying to keep his mind in check. He noticed that everyone else was gone, possibly after Dia. What was wrong with that girl anyway? After wandering about aimlessly, he finally snapped out of his confusion. Though he had no idea where the others ran off too.

Nonetheless, he was part of the group, so he ran off to hopefully help find Dia. They all left a few footprints in the sand so he was able to track them down at least that far. Eventually he heard the sound of trees falling down, stuff being smashed. It turned out to be Archur. He noticed Dia wasn't anywhere to be found. "Archur? Are uh... you alright?" Snype said.

Caro found Archur and Snype. They obviously had no luck finding Dia. Every thing in sight had been disturbed. Things were smashed and destroyed, Pokemon laying on the ground motionless. Snype was asking if Archur was ok. "Well obviously not! just look around" Caro said looking around. He assumed that Archur went on a rampage mostly because He was almost pounded himself. "Archur, I believe Dia can care for herself." Caro said tring to comfort him. "It seems she wants to stay here and we just have to respect that. But we need to get back to whats important: getting home." Caro said to the rest of the group. Although Caro wasn't happy with leaving Dia.

Dia lay hidden in her little hiding place. She was shaking. What had she done!? She had just run off again! Why? She didn't want to go back. But what could she do? Did she go back and apologise? She had been wrong to run away like that, even though she had been terrified. She didn't know if she could go back. But, she didn't want to be alone again. She had done it again. She had hurt her only friend. And this time it felt worse. This time hadn't been an accident. She lay there and cried. She so wanted to go and say she was sorry. That she wouldn't do it again. But... Words meant nothing from her. She was worthless, so why should they listen to her. But... She still had to try. She had to go say it. If they didn't want her, then she would leave. She crawled out through the little hole and began walking around looking for Archur. She headed back toward the beach, meowing quietly to herself, avoiding anyscent but Archur's. She had to go apologise. She just had to. Then, if he wanted her to go, she would, but she still had to say it. She hadn't meant to hurt him. She just panicked. She hadn't even been thinking again. She soon found Archur and Snype. Caro was there. Dia was still terrified of him. She meowed softly and looked at the ground. She knew they had heard her. Now, she would wait for them to acknowledge her.

Caro herd a soft meow and turned around to see Dia. Then Caro's fuse lit "YOU! Do you know how Angry you made Archur When you ran of like that!" Caro scolded and yelled at Dia. "If you don't just look around!" Caro said pointing at the Destroid rocks Broken trees and uncountous pokemon that were scatered all over the place. "You caused Archur to go on a rampage! Is that what you wanted! What kind of sick and twisted pokemon are you!" Caro continued to yell "And I'm so glad your back" Caro said finaly cooling down

(OOC: Real brilliant. Yell at an already rattled pokemon. You get a cookie for that. :P )

Dia yowled in fear and cringed, taking several steps back from Caro. She almost turned and fled, but she held on. She waited for several minutes after he stopped yelling at her.
"I... I'm sorry! I just got so scared! I... I don't want to be alone again, but I can't go back to him! I... I'm sorry!" she shouted hysterically. She broke down into sobs for several minutes before calming down, her mind returning to that maelstrom. She shuddered and stared imploringly at each of their faces, meowing sadly. After a while, she calmed down enough to speak again.
"I... I'm ... I'm twisted and horrible and worthless and sick and cruel and pathetic..." she fell into her thoughts, slowly getting quieter as she kept repeating all the horrible things that had been said to her over the years until she fell into silence. But those things were still inside her head. Again, she calmed down. They would need to know why she couldn't go back. She shook the fog of horrible thoughts away, and looked at the dirt.
"I... I can't go back... I used to be with a human... A horrible horrible person... He used to hurt me and call me all those things... He said no one could love me, no one cared. And he was right... One day... One day, I was battling against his other pokemon, Darkblaze. I... I killed him... It was an accident!... I didn't mean to! No! No... I won't! You can't make me! No! I... I..." Dia said, beginning to relive the experience at the end. She cowered before the imaginary Kevin that was in front of her, leering at her with a cruel smile. Caro, Snype, and Archur had all disappeared. All that was left was Kevin.

Snype facepalmed himself and lightly smacked Caro on the side of the head. "Cool at Caro. That attitude will just make her more upset. " He said. He then turned to Dia who had gotten more frantic. "No wonder she's so scared of us. At least act somewhat happy that she returned rather then scare her off again." Snype offered his hand to Dia. "Hey calm down... we won't go back to this human you talked about... if we do go back to the future, we can all go somewhere else! Far away from this person!" Snype said cheerfully but carefully enough so that she wouldn't be too jumpy.

"At least trust somebody who's had some experience in travel. I know Johto like the back of my hand! It's not too much different in the past." Snype said with a soothing smile. He turned and glared at Caro for a moment and back to Dia.

(OOC: T_T You made me feel bad for yelling)

"Oh!" Caro yelled realizing all of the reason for Dia's actions and felt bad for yelling at the poor Umbreon. sadly enough Caro knew exactly what it was like "When I was a child the humans wanted to build a city over our cave. They brought big construction vehicles, And it was too much for the cave roof to stand." Caro said remembering his childhood almost made him cry "The cave roof collapsed killing all of my family the humans have always been an enemy of mine, beeing crule to pokemon like that. That's why I saved you that day." Caro said "I'm sorry to have yelled at you" Caro said almost in tears.

(OOC: I'm sorry. XO I didn't mean to make you feel bad!)

Dia slowly came out of the delusion she had been in. She shook her head.
"That wasn't real... That can't be real... There's no way he could be here... I'm safe here..." She said to herself. She looked up and was startled by Snype's smile. It was more like a leer than a smile. And Caro... What had she done? He was about to cry! How? She didn't mean to do anything to hurt him!
"I'm sorry! I... I didn't mean to make you sad! I..." she said quietly. Why did she always hurt the people closest to her? Because she was sick and twisted like Caro had said. She should probably ust go now before she made things even worse. But, she was rooted to the spot. She couldn't go anywhere. Her legs wouldn't move.

Sheesh... of all the groups Snype had to be involved with, It had to be the dramatic one. Not that there was anything wrong with it. He did feel pretty bad for both of the Pokemon himself. Snype walked a little closer. "...I've seen a fair amount of stuff in my travels. Alot of bad stuff can happen out there... but... that's not how I like to think." Snype said. "Sometimes you just gotta think about the positives in life ya know? Even if it feels hopeless, you just gotta think about the situation positively and calmly." Snype said.

"Though sometimes... ya just gotta get all of those feelings out! Ya just gotta hit something! Trust me, I've resorted to that and left quite a few marks on a couple trees..."

Archur didn't answer Snype. He had just punched life in the face and had gone back to his nap, metaphorically speaking. When Dia came crawling and meowing back, he didn't care, well he was slightly dissapointed; if she wanted to be away so badly after he had ren offered to stay in this time period with her, then she should have stayed gone. He ignored her story, which she had already told him. He just walked away, not caring any more if she came with them. Of course if she did, he wouldn't just let her die, it wasn't in his nature to just throw others out like that, but he wouldn't be so protective of her either. He still felt stupid for making that promise, one he now knew he wouldn't ever be able to keep, but he was more outwardly nonchalant about it. He walked away from the three dark types and to the rock he had slept on that first night. He launched and froze hydro pumps until he couldn't use the water attack anymore. They just reminded him more of Rachel and the promise he hadn't made to her. He jumped down and smashed the bases of each. The frozen arcs fell into the ocean with a satisfying splash. In the back of Archur's mind, a thought was screaming at him to forgive Dia. He punched this thought in the face and dove into the ocean. He felt like delivering the humans some pain for what they had been doing to pokemon. He soon found a ship and swam up to the bottom of the hull, using take down. He repeated the process a few times until there was water pouring in so fast that the ship was up to it's foredeck in water. Satisfied with his work and the new home he had created for water pokemon, he swam back to the shore and sat beneath the rock.

Dia blinked when Archur just up and left. This is what she got for letting people in it seemed. It hurt. There was no kindness. No friendship. Only hurt. And she hated herself because she had started that hurt. It would always hurt. No, she had been right. She was better off alone. Her mind retreated in on itself again, and she went blank. She didn't even hear what Snype and Caro were saying. A moment later she was back. Archur was long gone. She hung her head. Never again. It just hurt too much. She'd much rather be alone than feel this way.
"When Archur comes back... Tell him I'm really sorry... Tell him he'll never have to see me again. That I'll never be able to hurt him again" Dia said sadly. She began walking away. She didn't know what she was going to do. But she couldn't stay here. It just hurt too much. Tears were running down her face, but she didn't care. It had all just been a stupid mistake! It was all her fault! Why?! Why had she run away!? She wanted to scream, but that wouldn't help anything at all. She knew what she was going to do. She was going back to the arena, where she would fight until she finally was killed. It didn't matter anyways, and at least she could feel something good if she won.

"Well um..." Before Snype could continue, he heard a loud noise out in the ocean. Seemed Archur wanted to take his anger out on a couple humans. That immediately shocked him for a moment. He had no reason to hate humans himself but that didn't mean they were all bad! From what he saw, Snype seemed to be the only one thinking straight around here. "Comon Dia... everybody is just a bit confused." Snype said. He kneeled onto one knee. "...We're all as scared as you. Even though this is the Johto we once knew, it's foreign territory. It's hard to comprehend and it makes it really hard for alot of us to really calm ourselves. None of it is your fault." Snype said. He doubted she would believe him but he was trying to stay as calm as possible. He really needed to talk to Archur though before he killed more humans... He wouldn't want to think of how to Future would be altered...

"Take a deep breath and just settle down a bit... think of some positive thoughts... as challanging as it is during these times." Snype said quietly.

(OOC: Someone get this girl a therapist!)

Dia sat down. She looked at the ground.
"Positive thoughts? There is nothing positive about me... I'm bad, evil, mean... And you can't say I'm not. I... I hurt my only friend... And I had no reason too... How is that not my fault? It is my fault... Everything is my fault..." Dia said quietly. She lay down, but she wasn't crying. Her mind had sank back into itself, and she was just... Absent again. There was nothing. All she wanted was to be safe. To not get hurt. But she couldn't even avoid that. Everything hurt. There was no positive. She was in a dark place, where the only people that didn't want her dead wanted to bring her back to where she came from. If they did that, Kevin would find her. And if not, she would get hurt by everyone. So, she rebelled against it. And that had failed. So, she just sat meekly again, not even aware of what was going on around her.

Snype was getting more depressed as the girl kept talking... geez what a mood killer. Snype walked a little closer and sat down beside her, not daring to touch her. "Your not evil, and your not mean. If you were any of those, we wouldn't be here trying to help you. Archur is a bit mad... yeah. But that's only because he really cares about you... He doesn't want to see you run off. It would break his heart... at least, that's what I've seen." Snype said, giving off a sigh.

"...If it makes you feel any better, I could be your friend. We dark types gotta stick together after all!"
