Goals

Why do you play these games? Any specific goals? I'm really interested in your opinions, so let's hear it!

Same reason I play any other videogame, because it's fun and because I like it. I'm not very competitive so I just want to enjoy myself.

As for myself, I just really want to kill time and have fun.

Having fun playing the game is important of course. Usually my main goal with any Pokemon game is to become League Champion. After that, I go with whatever post-game decides to offer. Sometimes I'll go back and finish the side competitions (ie. Pokeathlon and Contests); with battle facilities, I look through whatever prizes they have as reward and work towards the one I want. As with Gen 5 and 6, if I make it past any of the mentioned stages, I battle online competitively until I get tired of the game.

To be honest there was something that struck me when i first started to play firered(Dont ask me what struck! IDK).But since then I have never laid off my hands of a pokemon game!Goal or no goal

I enjoy raising Pokémon and training up my favorites. These days I'm also working ~very slowly~ on completing my Pokédex.

I play the normal game for fun, to relax. It's fun to catch Pokemon and see them become stronger and stronger, surprising you in every battle.

I play competitively because it makes you think and it's fun to play smart and to create strategies!

I don't really try to achieve anything. I'm just someone who plays for fun.

I play because it allows me to escape reality into the Pokemon universe. Going on an adventure with Pokemon is great, and playing the games allows me to achieve that.
