yeah the small office was nice for a year and a half, but the fare from my house was becoming too much for me + i can literally just do all my graphic design responsibilities at home lmao. i do wish our office was placed higher above or something so we'd have a better view of the outside. sadly, it's just roads and flat buildings surrounding our curb, so the view is pretty meh.It gets even better when I tell you I brought it to school and would play it in class during my downtime, then I'd head straight to work after class and play it during break or on the bus ride. The commute sounds yucky but the place sounds great, I definitely wouldn't mind working in a small relaxing office. Might sound weird, but whenever my parents would invite me to their work space for whatever, I'd just enjoy walking around and seeing what they have. I remember having to meet my aunt once and she worked in one of the office towers at the local mall, so the door outside her office led to a view of the roof of the mall and all the big buildings late at night. I remember standing there and thinking of how beautiful it looked. I'd have loved to work there just for that.
It's good you can just do everything at home and get around that though, I'd definitely miss the office myself but I feel like I'd be in the minority of not wanting to work from home. The buildings sound nice but I guess there's not a whole lot interesting in them.yeah the small office was nice for a year and a half, but the fare from my house was becoming too much for me + i can literally just do all my graphic design responsibilities at home lmao. i do wish our office was placed higher above or something so we'd have a better view of the outside. sadly, it's just roads and flat buildings surrounding our curb, so the view is pretty meh.
yeah everyone's different. i can 100% understand the need to differentiate home life from work life, but the perks of being my own boss is that i can meld the two together without having someone bear down on me all the time. i set my own deadlines, my own work hours, my own office space, etc. i like that and it's what i found works for me hehe. It's good you can just do everything at home and get around that though, I'd definitely miss the office myself but I feel like I'd be in the minority of not wanting to work from home. I was just off to bed, but hoping to see Seliph as well?
exactly! i was wasting so much time with inbetweens like commutes and such, and when i got to work/home i was too tired to do anything anymore, so i figured, why not just remove that aspect altogether? i truly believe i'm ready to do so.Making your own work rules sounds kinda nice. These 8 hour+get from and to work really drains my energy for doing anything else. I mean sometimes it's great to have some routine, don't get me wrong. But sometimes...
