Twenty-five years ago today, the world wide web became available for use to the general public. Without the technology deployed by Tim Berners-Lee, we wouldn't be here today! 8)

25 years already? That's only just a year older than I am!

That said, I don't think we'd all be here today without this glorious creation. We all wouldn't be connected and discussing what's going on if WWW wasn't a thing. Happy 25th, you glorious world that is the internet.

I'm older than the World Wide Web... now I REALLY feel old. :c

However, I'm glad I was able to discover it. I mean, it's changed my life and help me meet the friends that I have currently. <3 Kudos to him for changing the world. :D

I actually feel really young. The internet was 6 years old when I was born? Seems like not a lot but still.. we've really lived our whole lives with technology, huh?

The internet was originally conceived for the government's computers to be on the same system and enable communications in case of nuclear or unforseen happenings. That and in the 80's it was beginning to take shape and enabled colleges and science folk and the like to utilize the system. Anyways, happy bd www.
