Eh, I don't blame him...
Happy birthday nice guy.
Q.F.T. (I used an internet acronym! Cool, hehe.)
But seriously, you're about as right as the hand opposite of my left--if I had posted on here yesterday, when both of those...
people, were online, I would have been bombarded under the combined strength of both their criticisms/insults/dastardly, mean comments.
So I waited. And now ... now that it is no longer my birthday, they are no longer obliged to talk just about me, and so I shouldn't have to be in a situation where I have to handle both of them at the same time. It's just basic logic, really.
*sips from a cup of tea while several people clap nervously in the background*
Now, now my faithful compatriots; there is no need for applause. You know how I dislike such attention, being the largely... modest, individual I am...
*takes another sip of tea and sticks his pinky out, causing several security guards to cough and the overall level of applause to increase two-fold*
Oh ho ho, you really do flatter me, my friends. Security guards, pass some crumpets around. XD
(Thanks for the birthday wish by the way, 22sa! And my bad again, for using your "nice guy" title for a while, hehe.)
No, guys, I was actually kept pretty busy yesterday. (trying to figure out
what to do, and then have it rain right when we were about to leave the house, lol.) So as much as I would like to say it was all part of some convoluted plot like the one mentioned earlier, I'm afraid that's... only about half the reason. 40/60, maybe. XD
Another reason I didn't come on was because I wasn't sure I would find much here, heh. Actually, that's not entirely true--I was sure I would find a thread made for me, but I sort of had half a mind to believe it would be made by someone I didn't know well. I'd still be eternally grateful to them, and would definitely set up the ol' giant feather and grapes routine, but still, no one can deny that those situations aren't just slightly awkward, hehe.
You then might be able to imagine, just how pleased I was to log in and find what I did here: ranting, (my favorite, hehe)
compliments, (which I didn't know even existed anymore... but don't stop now, lol) a genuine birthday card, (I used to think drifblim and drifloon were slightly creepy, but the awesomeness of that card opened my heart to those li'l balloon guys. Thank you so much, Queen Boo--Mind if I call you Queen Boo? It's easier to type, but I can understand if all those symbols are, like, marks of your royalty or something... your majesty. XD) dorkisms, (A.K.A. calling me a dork. I don't get enough of that in real life, hehe.) threats/blackmail/criticism, (*breathes in deeply* This is the stuff that reminds you you're alive, hehe) and birthday wishes from my friends--even from some I don't know yet... but would be glad to get to meet. (Thanks for the birthday greeting, Drifblim. ...nice name, hehe. It's true I haven't been active in a long time. A large reason for that is because a lot of the people I used to chat with don't come here anymore. So I'm sort of unknown again, which is always a difficult spot to be in. Maybe, if I got to know more people, I could feel more comfortable about posting, and become active again. I don't know how it'll go but, hey--it is the Summer, so I should have time to try it out, hehe.)
Thanks, Jedi_Amara! I'm glad to see
somebody can recall my comedic genius in that thread. Goofball dads are tall orders to fill--you have to act stupid, while still imparting the all-important life lessons on the kids. Granted I did none of the second part... but I think I acted plenty stupid, a-yup. XD
As for Kayleigh and Chrystie... well, you guys want me to finish up this post as fast as possible, so I think I'll leave this part out. XD Thanks for making the thread though, Kayleigh! *rattles his cane at her while holding his back* Who woulda thought a youngin' like you would be capable of som'thin' so nice? As a reward, yer free to chew my food, play bingo and walk me across streets whenever you'd like! XD Lol, but really--thanks, Kayleigh. We've had our rough spots over the years, but I've still yet to find a more kind-hearted, forgiving friend as you. ...and thanks especially for the mayonnaise comment, because my birthday cake this year was dirt cake, (crumbled oreos over a sort of cream) and now every time I look at it I can't help but think the cream looks an awful lot like mayonnaise. So, thanks a lot. XD
Chrystie... I have too many things to thank you for, so I don't even mind that you don't have a gift for me. (*turns around and bad eyes his anger management mentors*) The graduation was fine, by the way. I didn't toss my hat in the air because, since I wasn't particularly well-known in my year, had I done it chances are nobody else would of, and so security would have been on me before I could even get the chance to have my eyes poked out by my falling hat. XD Oh well--I'm just happy people were still clapping by the time my name was called, since I was pretty far back on the list, heh. Thanks for always being all the things a friend should be through the years.
By the way, Chrystie, I looked it up, and the average plane trip from Massachussets to Miami--which is actually a much shorter distance than Massachussets to Texas--is about 23 hours. So, no. You would NOT be able to fly to Texas, and then be back in Massachussets by the time I posted. So... *glances between the two of them* Let me in on what this huge secret is or I'll book trips to both your places and MAKE you two tell me, under highly torturous circumstances! XD
P.S. Why don't you take a page out of Chrystie's book, Kayleigh, and just give me my birthday present? Like a normal person? Don't make me use the wish Chrystie gave me to make her force it out of you... XD
