    Anybody plays the game? I think it's great and all...

    Who did you marry?

    I married Nami...she looks pretty cute when she cries in her fifth cutscene...O_O

    People think that Nami isn't a good bride but she's actually very sweet when you marry her... ^_^

    And your son gets a lot of job oppurtunities...
     
    aww, you lucky people have the game. when i'm done with ToS, i'll for sure get the new harvestmoon! :P harvestmoon rules! too bad harvestmoon: for girls didn't get released in the US.
     
    I just heard recently that there is one for girls (one that you pointed out Zapchu)

    It really sucks when you cow goes dry...got to make it have the "miracle potion" again... *snickers*

    I have the game, but I haven't been able to make a file in it. Since there are only two per each memory card, both my sisters took them (Just another example that nice guys finish last, hehe). I have been helping out with my little sister's a bit, so, eh, it's not so bad!

    The game's defenitely an improvement over the previous installments. It's a little more complicated, in a way, but the overall experience is a lot more rewarding. Each character has their each unique personality, that really shows throughout the course of the game.... plus, the fact that you can ride your horse anywhere is awesome! Hehe...

    And hey, how'd you find out about this game?
    I told you about it once, but I don't think that was what convinced you into playing it, hehe.

    There are new HM games?? When did all of this happen? I haven't been paying much attention to games for the past...year? Is it for GCN or PS2?

    The last time I played a HM game legally was HM64. All the other HM games I've played were ROMs.

    I had no idea I was so persuasive, hehe.

    Anyway, I thought you might like the game. The concept at first might seem a tad awkward, but once you delve into it, it really is a nice game.

    Eh? 5!? You better be givin' her some good feed for all that, hehe.

    This game, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, is for GameCube. However, there is another game called Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland for the PS2. Besides the overall appearance of the games, the only actual difference is that they cut out the marriage system in the PS2 one.
     
    I played that game while I was in Anchorage...I think it's cool, but there should be one for girls in the US :(
     
    Bleh, I got it the day it came out, I was really hyped up about it... and well, I got a big let down. -_-;;

    I've yet to finish my first year, I get bored everytime I try to start playing it. BTN kept me much more interested... I think it's because in AWL you move so slow. >.o;
     
    Eh, the character moves slow? I'd hate to see how fast he walks when he gets old, then, lol. O_o

    I really want to get this game! Though, I'm waiting to see if they still plan on releasing the one for girls any time soon. I recently heard that they were going to! I don't know when, but I think that they'll be releasing AWL and FoMT for girls sometime soon. I just hope that the game won't end as soon as you get married, like on the Gameboy version... That was so annoying.

    And so far I think my favorite character is going to be Celia!
     
    this game's alright... it's not as good as the n64 or gba versions (i think anyway) but... it's ok... it is a little slow like was said earlier. and i don't like how long all the days are and how you only have 3 girls to pick from.
     
    Once you get the horse it isn?t so bad; it?s just this one is more aimed at relationships and patience than massive crop harvests like BTN, which is my favorite.

    I just got the game and I'm in the 2nd Year now. And I have a few questions...

    1. When you BUY a new cow, how long does it take for it to start giving milk?
    2. How long does it take for a cow to give birth?
    3. How long does it take for the calf to grow up and give milk?
    4. WHY DOES "MILKING A MALE COW...ER..BULL" MAKE IT HAPPY???

    you have to breed it. to do that it must mature first
    2. How long does it take for a cow to give birth?
    a year if I recall

    Half a game year, but see first answer

    Heh, I'm in Year One of Chapter 2: Happy Birthday. My sister is in year 2 of that chapter but all she really does is feed teh cows, water plants, sleep, repeat.

    I'm trying to make my kid become a rancher and inherit the farm but he keeps doing the stuff that hints at farmer.

    Anyway...if that's what you have to do to make a cow give milk, I have to sell a couple cows yo make room to breed some. And...I GOT DUCKS.
     
    I played both files and married Celia and Muffy. I was lucky to get to chose who I married because I kept teasing them with the blue feather.(plus, I never could get more than two cutscenes for Nami and Muffy.)
