6th Gen Has anybody gotten a Masuda Method Shiny yet?

I'm still going...still failing hard, over 1000+ eggs now, I haven't counted them up yet but I haven't been releasing either and I've got a good 4-5 boxes full since last post.
I've been looking around at posts here and elsewhere but couldn't find anything concrete to state that Masuda works with everstone/destiny knot. I don't want to stop using both items, but it would explain my bad luck. However I guess I cant complain until after the 1300ish egg has been hatched.

Well since my numbers were wrong it's 1 in about 800 not one in 1,400, but I like the bigger number better because it gives you a higher number to shoot for if you haven't gotten your shiny bug by egg 800 (which you haven't :( ). I'm tempted to help you breed a shiny one, but I still haven't gotten my project shiny Tyrunt yet. Been distracted! I hate to postpone my Tyrunt breeding (I already postponed my Dratini breeding), but if I don't get my egg soon I may start trying for yours.

On the bright side, I bet a decent IV (or it doesn't even matter probably) Pinsir will trade for something nice on GTS. Try it!

Those of you who use WT, is it safe to use it again? I used it for a while until I heard of that glitch/hack with the bad eggs traded through WT. I want to use it again because I got a lot pokemon with good IVs i'd like to send into the WT while I breed for my shiny.

I haven't followed the news on this, I just stopped using WT just to be safe until I got the all clear.

All I found from looking around was a single video by one guy, and that was the day after launch. If it hasn't been fixed, I certainly haven't heard of any more instances of Bad Eggs, and I've been abusing WT pretty heavily with all the rejected babies I have to get rid of but don't want to release. If I got an egg from WT, you are prompted to save BEFORE you initiate the WT system, not after. So if you save, WT, get an egg, you can reset to your last save, and the egg should be gone. I haven't tried this with say, a flebebe I receive and do not want, but as long as I don't save AFTER the trade, the Pokemon I got from the trade should just disappear.

Don't let the Bad Egg hysteria scare you away from WT. WT is an amazing feature and you're really missing out if you avoid it.

I actually did get an egg in a WT, before I read about the Bad Egg issue, but it hatched in a few steps and was a Squirtle. That was over two weeks ago and I have had zero problems, also since the egg hatched, it can't be considered a Bad Egg anyway. Do not fear WT! Use it! Just don't put out a million Bunnelbys and Pidgeys...

I appreciate the on going support, I really do. But this is something I must do alone. after hatching another 100ish eggs so probably around 1100+ (no idea now im just grinding away) I've found another good iv father this time from JPN. Gonna see how this goes, will report back!

MM is so random I can cry. I'm working on completing a shiny Kalos dex, bred Shiny Chespin, Fennekin and Froakie in less than 50 eggs each. I am currently at egg #415 for a shiny Bunnelby.

It just goes to show that luck and patience are two super important factors when breeding for shinies.

It can take up to a lot more than just 6 babies. Masuda method still only makes it a 1/600 chance or something like that. I bred about 15 boxes of teddiursas before getting my shiny

2 days ago i was working on breeding Lightning Rod and Volt tackle Pichu's for trading. 3 eggs into my first batch i got a shiny Pichu. This shocked me because i wasn't even trying for one. I do keep a Japanese Ditto in my daycare at all times and this isn't the first time I've stumbled upon a shiny without trying. This is actually the second time I've gotten a shiny with the Masuda Method within 10 eggs of starting so its just surprising that they seem to show up so easily for me.

You guys seem to think that getting a shiny is super easy, the chances are increased and i have gotten a shiny eevee, now a shiny sylveon, most of you have gotten lucky becuase it took me around 6 boxes to get the eevee and now im on box 21 for breeding a shiny Aron (600+ arons so far) the average with the masuda method is somthing like 1/4000 so yes you are lucky lol

I bred myself a flawless tirtouga and kept it in an egg. Is there anyone that is not italian like me and that will hatch it for me and trade it back? I can grant you exact italian copy of it to trade back

I just added a shiny ralts to my team that I bread with the Masuda method. This time it took me 17 eggs. But for those of you reading this who have filled several boxes and still not gotten one, it really is all about luck. I can't explain why its so easy for me to breed and find shinys but normal it does not happen as fast as it happens for me.

I've hatched 600 evees using an everstone eevee and a Canadian and Japanese Eevee Mating. No shiny. 20 boxes of eevees!

I'm releasing all my eeves now so I can have room for the next go at it. I really hope I get it soon. Like everyone says, I get paranoid about if the everstone affects your chances but I know it's luck. It's just frustrating! I haven't progressed in the game *on five gym badges* as I want my shiny sylveon first.

Hopefully I get it soon. This method really tests your patience and how much you want the shiny!

It's not 1/4000, that's pretty much the random encounter rate lol.

Shiny Breeding, any tips?

So I have been breeding an American ditto with a Japanese Teddiursa in hopes of a shiny. I have a fletchfinder leading the party with flame body. 200+ eggs later and nothing yet, am I doing something wrong? Is their a tip anyone can give me?

Also, speaking of tips, I know tipping helps wild shiny encounters, but does anyone know if tipping will help with breeding shinies?

Needless to say, I have a buttload of Teddis if anyone wants them for free. I don't get into IV training, so all are lv 1, most of them will all 6 points for every stat, various natures, and either quick feet or pickup ability. Pm me and add me if you'd like one.

Determination. That is the only thing that I can tell you. And to use Flame Body, although it seems you are already using that, so you're on the right track. My bro spent weeks breeding hundreds of Pokemon, but didn't get one shiny, so really it's all up to luck.

Hey guys, i'm italian so sorry for my english.
Btw i tried Masuda method yesterday and after 3 hours i hatched a shinyAdamant Charizard with 31 IVs on HP, Def, Speed with egg move Dragondance and Outrage. Now i'm booking for a shiny greninja but i nerd your help. Can someone trade me a female DW froakie, i'll give you an Adamant Charmander 5IVs (no 31iv in Atk, sorry).
