I can still pass for 16-17 so whenever there's something with a lower price for Youths I go for it.

And I've seen parents who say their 5-6 year old kids are under 5 so they can eat at a discount at resturaunts or ride free on the bus.

I also remember being 4 when we went to Disneyland when I was really 6 to get in cheaper.
But those times before I was old enough to know better were really my parents doing.

I don't do it anymore, but back when I was younger (up to about... 13 years old), my mom used to say that I'm younger, so she doesn't have to pay an "adult" price for me, but a kids price. I never ate much (I still don't when I go to restaurants), so it was pretty okay with me.

I did before, but not anymore. Now I lie about age to buy movies, not save money. XD

i cant... im 14 and 6 feet tall so... yeah..
but my friend could pass for 12 and hes my age. also a few years back we all got into a 14+ movie then at his turn he said he was 13... to get in cheaper.... hes so dumb.

No I have never lied about my age to save money.

I don't think my age would have saved money. But i am sure my parents have lied about it in the past. Still i look 18 more than i look 23 which is my actual age. So some times its like "are you old enough to drink?" and i am like yeah im 23..heh!

I've never lied to save a few bucks. Not because of principal, but because I look older than what I am. Although once I did say I was a student at my local high school just to save a dollar to get into the play (but all the cashier asked is if I was a studnt, and technically I am, haha).

Oh my god, this reminds me of SO much.

I would never do that, but my parents are real sneaky. I remember a few incidences where they lied about MY age.

    1) It was some time in 2004 when "Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban" came out, my rentz totally lied about my age, along with my sisters. I don't remember what she said, exactly, but I remember this, cause I knew my mom didn't "pay the right amount" xD

2)It was some time in 2006, and my parents and my sister and I went to Canada for vacation. We went to Niagra Falls, and we were purchasing tickets for "The Maid of the Mist" ferry ride. I was like 9, I think, but my parents told the ticket guy I was like, 6! So se saved half the price... it was something like that, don't remember exactly. :P

3)The most recent time was actually this New Years. It was my dad's birthday, and the family was gonna go see "Avatar". Dad went to get the tickets. Mom called her and said to get 2 tickets that were little kids tickets. I'm like "Mom, mom, I'm 14, its not gonna work" xD, so she didn't buy them. :P

Those are just a few, there are more, but those three were my favorites. :P

It rarely happens now, but when I was about fifteen my parents used to say I was twelve since I practically looked younger than I was. It worked, but I used to feel so used even though it was for a good money-saving purposes. It mostly occurred at the movies, restaurants, and theme parks. However, now going on eighteen and looking more mature as it is, it is pretty hard to surpass being under classified as a youth when most companies are now taking twelve and older for adult charges.

My parents still use the technique on my sister however as she still looks younger than the adult charged age. I'm just relieved I'm taken as my age now, although there are occasions when some take me as younger, but only but two to three years.

I think my Nana had lied once about my age being younger than I was @ the movie theaters not sure. Anyways people notice that I look older than my age which is 15 I'm always getting comments like I'm 17 or 18 odd I know. I've never lied about my age.

No, I never did. (If i did, i just don't remember it)

Actually, I don't lie at all.

Can't do it anymore since I've grown like three inches over the summer ;D

I can get away saying I am three years younger than my age. I don't enjoy doing that though. It's such a pity you have to lie to save money.
